Billing and Invoicing for Pest Control
Billing raises invoices for one-off treatments and AMC contracts from the closed job or the contract terms. It records GST, advances, payment status and what is outstanding by customer.
Invoices raised from the job
Month-end billing
Visits completed in the month come up as billable, and AMC instalments falling due appear on the same list. Invoices are raised together. Nothing is chased from memory. Whatever remains on the screen afterwards is what is outstanding.
Reports for the accounts desk
- Outstanding dues by customer, oldest first
- AMC instalments falling due this month
- Visits completed but not yet invoiced
- Payments received, by mode and by date
- Jobs quoted at one figure and closed at another
Limits to know
Invoices and payments export for Tally, and your accountant posts them there. A direct connection is scoped separately where a set-up needs it. On WhatsApp the message is prepared with the invoice attached, and a person sends it.
Frequently asked questions
Can the software raise a GST invoice?
Yes. Invoices carry tax as you charge it and the customer’s GSTIN where one is given. Hotels and food companies can have the treatment and visit number printed on the bill.
Can one AMC be billed in instalments?
Yes. Instalments and their dates are saved with the contract, and each appears on the billing list when due. A customer paying the year upfront is billed once.
What if a job is quoted at one figure and done at another?
The invoice is raised against the work order, so it shows what the job closed at. The original quote stays beside it on the record for reference.
Can the report and the invoice go out together?
Yes, by email. On WhatsApp the message is made ready and somebody in the office sends it.
