This is the week to draw stops from where children live now. A stop with nobody on it is visible, and so is a route with eleven children and forty two seats. Buses, drivers and attendants go against routes here, so a route short of a driver shows up in June rather than at a quarter past seven on the first morning.
It is a list, not a map
Stops are named the way your area names them, with times and slabs against them. The software does not draw the road, calculate the shortest way round, or know that the flyover work has closed a left turn. Your transport in-charge knows that, and the route is hers to arrange.

What happens when we merge two routes?
Stops move with their children. The seat counts on both buses change, and the fee follows the slab of the new stop if the stop itself changed.
Can one stop serve the morning route and a different evening route?
Yes. A child is mapped to a stop and a bus for the morning trip, the evening trip or both, which is how most schools actually run them.
Do we need Google Maps for this?
Not for routes and stops. Live location on a map is a separate matter and needs a tracking unit fitted to the bus.
