Reports for Tyre Shop Owners and Managers
These reports come from the stock, jobs, exchanges and invoices that the counter already enters, so nobody keeps a separate sheet. Every report covers a single outlet, or all outlets combined.
The reports
Who reads which report
Owners read sales, margin and credit outstanding. Store staff read tyres in stock and the below-level list, while counter staff work from the due list and open claims. Technicians see their own jobs. Nothing about money.
Reading the figures
The reports draw on live records, so each figure reflects the entries made so far. A tyre must be received before it can be sold. A job must be closed before it counts. When a report looks short, an entry is probably still to be made.
What the system does not do
- It does not post entries into Tally. An export is scoped and quoted separately.
- It does not set margins or discounts. The owner decides those.
- Reports beyond this list are agreed with the client during scoping.
- Reminder results show a direction only, since some customers would have returned anyway.
Frequently asked questions
Can a report cover one outlet only?
Yes. A report can cover one outlet or all of them, depending on the role of the reader.
Are the figures current?
Yes. They are drawn from live invoices, job cards and stock entries, so they move as each one is added.
Can margin be shown by tyre?
Where purchase cost is entered, margin is worked per tyre and per brand. Landed cost can include freight if the shop adds it at receipt.
Can the accountant get the figures?
The accountant can read sales and purchase reports inside GullySystem. Anything further is scoped with the client.
