Tyre Warranty and Claims Tracking
A tyre that fails early becomes a claim on the maker. This module finds the sale from the vehicle or serial, records the inspection and follows the claim until it is settled.
Opening a claim
The counter searches by registration number, serial or invoice. The original sale appears with the tyre, its manufacture week and the fitting date. The claim is opened against that record. It does not rest on memory.
What a claim record carries
Following up with the maker
Open claims are listed by brand, with the days since each was sent, which shows the owner which maker is slow to reply, and the claim can be chased. A customer who calls for news gets an answer from the record.
What this module does not decide
- Whether a tyre is covered. The maker’s terms and the maker’s inspection decide that.
- Whether the shop replaces a tyre before the maker agrees. That is the owner’s risk to take.
- How a credit note is treated for tax, which the shop’s accountant advises on.
Frequently asked questions
Does it submit claims to the maker online?
No. The shop sends the claim as it does today, by the maker’s own channel, and records the reference and the outcome here.
What if the customer has lost the invoice?
The sale is found from the registration number or phone, so the claim does not depend on the paper copy.
Can photographs be attached?
Yes. Photos of the tyre, the damage and the serial can be added to the claim from a phone at the counter.
Can claims be reported by brand?
Yes. Open and settled claims can be listed by brand and by size, which shows where failures are concentrated.
