Tyre Shop Software Views for Owners, Counter and Technicians
A tyre shop has several people touching the same sale. The owner, the counter, the bay technician and the store each see the records their own work needs, and little else.
The owner
Counter and billing staff
Counter staff look up stock by size, quotes, takes old tyres in exchange and raises invoices. It opens job cards for the bay and takes payment. Each customer’s balance and vehicle history is on screen. Credit limits and the price list are not open to change here.
Fitting technicians
A technician sees the jobs queued for a bay, with the vehicle, the tyres and the services ticked, and enters the alignment and balancing readings from the same screen. Prices, stock cost and customer balances stay out of view.
Store and purchase staff
The store receives tyres against orders, enters manufacture weeks and counts racks. Purchase staff raise orders on distributors from the below-level list and see each supplier’s account. Retail margins stay hidden unless the owner chooses to show them.
What the client decides
Who sees what is set when the system is configured. Our team changes it when the shop’s staffing changes. The owner decides whether a branch manager sees one outlet or all of them.
Frequently asked questions
Can a technician see the price of a tyre?
Only when the owner switches it on. By default the bay view shows the job and the parts, not the cost or the customer’s balance.
Can a manager see only one outlet?
Yes. A manager can be limited to a single outlet’s stock, jobs and sales, while the owner sees all outlets together.
Is there a view on the phone?
Yes. Technicians use a phone for the bay queue, and owners can check stock, sales and dues from anywhere.
Who can change a past invoice?
Only a person the owner permits, and the earlier version is kept alongside the change.
