Multi-Showroom Management for Furniture Retailers
Several showrooms and warehouses can run on one system, with stock, sales and customers visible across all of them. Each order stays attached to the showroom that sold it.
One system for every location
A furniture retailer with several branches often keeps a separate stock register and order book in each, so a question about a model means a call to another showroom. Here the showrooms and warehouses are locations in the same system. Stock, sales and customers can be read across all of them. That is the point.
What is shared and what stays with a branch
Who looks across branches
Owners read every showroom together. Salespeople check live stock in the locations they are allowed to see. Warehouse managers receive stock and reserve pieces against orders. Delivery supervisors plan the day’s trips, and which locations each person can see is agreed with the business during implementation.
What is agreed during implementation
- The list of showrooms and warehouses, and the stock counted in each
- Which staff see one location and which see all
- Whether transfers between locations are entered by the sending or the receiving side
- How price lists and discount limits apply across branches
- Whether the accountant needs invoices separated by showroom
Frequently asked questions
Can a salesperson see stock in another showroom?
Yes, where the business allows it. Stock is kept by location, so a salesperson can check another showroom or the warehouse before giving a date.
Is there a limit on how many showrooms can be added?
No limit is published. The number of showrooms and warehouses is listed in the proposal and agreed during scoping.
Does each showroom keep its own customers?
Customers are visible across all showrooms. Whether a branch should be limited to its own customers is a choice made with the business during implementation.
Can the owner compare showrooms with each other?
Yes. Sales are reported by showroom, salesperson, category and month, and stock value is shown for each location.
