Agriculture · Irrigation Installer Management Software

One record for each plot, from survey and zone design to installation and seasonal service.

Manage grower enquiries, plot surveys, zone designs, quotations, installation crews, pipe and emitter stock, commissioning tests and service visits in one system. Each plot carries its zone plan, its parts and its test readings from the first walk to the final bill, so the office never rebuilds a drawing from memory. Foremen update laying progress from a phone at the field.

  • Rate list, pipe sizes and emitter catalogue entered as you price them
  • Growers, plots and unpaid bills migrated
  • Zone and test fields adjusted by GullySystem staff when asked

Firms that lay drip, sprinkler and mainline systems keep surveys, zone designs, quotations and installation jobs in Irrigation Installer Management Software, a GullySystem build. Each plot holds its zones, the lateral and emitter stock issued, the flow readings taken at commissioning and the stage bills raised. Seasonal service contracts and breakdown calls follow from the same plot record.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Survey sketches never reach the quotation

The surveyor draws blocks, valves and pump position on a field sheet. The office retypes lengths into a quotation, and the numbers drift between the two documents. Nobody notices until the parts run out.

The zone plan is not kept after burial

Once trenches close, the only map of the sub-main is a drawing in somebody’s bag. Repairs two seasons later start with a hunt for the pipe. That costs a day.

Commissioning readings are not written down

Inlet pressure and far-end flow are checked by eye and forgotten. When a block of emitters underperforms, no earlier figure exists to compare. Blame follows.

Rolls and fittings leave the yard uncounted

Laterals, drippers, tees, end caps and screen filters go out for several plots on one vehicle. A short fall appears only when the crew is standing in the field. Work stops.

Laying wages follow metres, not days

Gangs are paid per metre of trench and lateral, plus helper days. Totals are worked out in a notebook, and disputes arise about which plot a metre belongs to. Pay waits.

Growers pay in stages that no one tracks

Advance, mainline, laterals and commissioning each carry a payment. The office cannot see which grower owes which stage, so the last instalment waits. Cash stays out.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Enquiry and survey

A grower’s call or a farm visit is logged with plot, crop and water source. The surveyor records pump head, well yield and block sizes on a phone.

  2. 2

    Design and quotation

The plot is split into zones with lateral lengths and emitter spacing. Quantities are costed zone by zone from the rate list, then the grower’s yes or no is noted against each version of the quotation. Revisions stay.

  3. 3

    Job and crews

An accepted quotation becomes a plot job with zones. Trench gangs, fitters and a foreman are assigned, and a start date is set after the stock check. Nothing starts short.

  4. 4

    Laying and fitting

Mainline, sub-main and laterals move through dug, laid and backfilled. Filters, injectors, valves and controllers are fitted, and stock is issued against the zone.

  5. 5

    Test and handover

Each zone is flushed and tested, readings are saved, and the zone chart goes to the owner with a record of the training given.

  6. 6

    Bills and service

Stage bills follow measured work. After handover the plot joins the service plan, with filter cleaning visits and breakdown calls logged against its zones.

Modules

What is inside.

Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.

Enquiries and site surveys

Log each grower enquiry with the plot, crop and water source. Schedule the survey walk, and keep the sketch, well yield and pump details with the client.

Zone design and bill of quantities

Split a plot into zones with lateral length, emitter spacing and design flow. Each zone gets a bill of quantities, with mainline, lateral, dripper, filter and injector lines costed at the unit rates you hold.

Quotations and revisions

Send a quotation per plot. Keep each revision when the grower changes crop spacing or adds a block, and see which quotations are still open.

Installation jobs by zone

Run each plot as a job with its zones, crew and schedule. Mainline, sub-main and lateral runs move through dug, laid, backfilled and tested.

Pipe, emitter and fitting store

Record rolls of lateral, drippers, grommets, valves and fittings received, issued to a plot and returned. Reorder levels flag the sizes that run out first. Counts stay honest.

Laying crews and attendance

Mark who worked on which plot. Assign trench and fitting gangs, and work out daily wages, piece rates per metre laid and advances.

Flushing and pressure test log

Note inlet pressure, far-end pressure and flow for every zone at commissioning, with the person who ran it, so a later complaint can be compared with a figure. The readings stay on the zone.

Handover and zone chart

Prepare the zone chart, valve schedule and filter cleaning notes for the owner. Record who received them. Note the training given on site.

Stage bills and receipts

Bill on mainline laid, laterals laid and system commissioned from the measured work. Post cash, cheque and transfer receipts against the plot and see each grower’s balance.

Season service contracts

Keep service plans for filter cleaning, injector descaling and lateral repair, with visit dates and renewal reminders for every plot.

Breakdown tickets and spares

Raise a ticket for each blocked emitter line, burst lateral or failed solenoid. Dispatch a technician. Record the spares used on the plot.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Lead Management

Grower calls and farm visits are logged with plot, crop and water source, and the survey walk is scheduled against the surveyor’s diary.

  • Estimate/Quotation Management

A quotation per plot is priced from your lateral, filter and emitter rates, and each revision is kept when the grower adds a block.

  • Work Order Management

A plot runs as a job whose zones move from dug to laid, backfilled and tested, with the gang and foreman named on each.

  • Stock Tracking and Alerts

Lateral rolls, drippers, valves and fittings are counted in, issued to a plot and returned, with reorder flags on the sizes that run short first.

  • Attendance & Time Tracking

Gangs are marked present against the plot they worked on, so metre-rate pay and helper days are totalled without a notebook.

  • Invoice Management

Advance, mainline, laterals and commissioning bills are raised from measured work, and receipts are posted against the grower’s balance for that plot.

  • AMC and Service Contracts

Each plot’s service plan lists filter cleaning and injector descaling visits with renewal dates, so a season never starts without a booked visit.

  • Ticket Management

A blocked emitter line or burst lateral becomes a numbered ticket with the plot and zone, a technician assigned and the spares logged.

Services

How we would put it in.

Setup, data migration, integrations and anything built on top.

Who uses it

One system, each person sees their part.

For owners

See plots under installation, quotations awaiting a grower’s decision, stage balances by grower and laying cost against billed work.

For surveyors and designers

Record plot measurements and water source data. Build zone designs and bills of quantities, and revise them when the grower changes the crop plan.

For foremen

Update laying progress by zone, record flushing and pressure readings, and list the fittings needed before the next trench opens.

For yard and store staff

Issue rolls, drippers and valves against a plot, and take back the offcuts and unused fittings that return.

For service technicians

See filter cleaning visits and breakdown calls for the day, with the plot and zone shown, and log the spares fitted.

Reports

The numbers the owner asks for.

  • Plots by stage, from survey to commissioned
  • Quotations still open, won or lost, by crop and block size
  • Pipe, lateral and emitter issue against each plot
  • Commissioning flow readings by zone
  • Stage balances due from growers, oldest first
  • Laying wages by gang, metres laid and advances
  • Service visits due and breakdown calls by plot
Good fit

Who this is built for.

  • Firms that design and lay drip systems for orchards, vineyards and vegetable plots
  • Installers of sprinkler, rain gun and centre pivot systems on larger farms
  • Greenhouse and polyhouse irrigation fitters who also install fertigation units
  • Estate and plantation irrigation contractors working in blocks
  • Irrigation dealers whose own crews do the laying and the seasonal service
Honest answer

When it is not the right choice.

  • Someone fitting a few garden drip kits each season has no gangs to pay and no zone charts to draw. A notebook does the job.
  • Makers of drippers, pipe and pumps will find Irrigation Equipment Manufacturer Management Software closer, and lawn and garden crews will find Landscaping Management System closer.
Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Your rate list and parts catalogue

Pipe diameters, laterals, emitter types, filters and controllers go in with the rates you quote today.

Zone and test fields

The readings you take at commissioning, such as inlet pressure, far-end pressure and flow per valve, are set as the test form.

Stage billing terms

Advance, mainline, laterals and commissioning shares are set to match the terms you agree with growers.

Clients and plots migrated

Growers and finished plots come from your register. Unpaid stage bills are keyed in against each plot.

Messages and payments

Before a service visit, and when a stage bill falls due, growers get a text, email or chat message, and a payment link can sit on the notice.

Hosted by GullySystem

GullySystem hosts the system, so office, surveyors and foremen read the same plot records.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

Does it design the layout for us?

No. Your surveyor or designer sizes pumps, mains and emitters. The software holds the zones and figures chosen, then builds the parts list and the quotation from them.

Can one plot have many zones with different crops?

Yes. A plot holds as many zones as the layout needs, each with its own crop, lateral length, emitter spacing and design flow. Tests and stock issue are recorded per zone.

Can the foreman record a pressure test in the field?

Yes, from a phone browser. The foreman enters inlet pressure, far-end pressure and flow for the zone and saves it. In a dead spot the entry waits until the connection returns.

How are stage bills worked out?

Work measured against mainline, laterals and commissioning becomes a stage bill for that plot. The shares for each stage follow the terms agreed with the grower.

Can it track pipe and emitter stock?

Yes. Rolls, fittings and valves are received from suppliers, issued against a plot and returned. Reorder levels highlight the lateral sizes your crews use most.

Do you handle seasonal service contracts?

Yes. A plan lists the visits for filter cleaning, injector descaling and lateral checks. Each plan carries a renewal date, and a breakdown outside the plan becomes a billed call.

Is any government subsidy paperwork supported?

It produces the documents a subsidy scheme asks for, such as a quotation, a layout and a commissioning record, from the plot. Scheme forms and rules are set up with your own staff.

Who owns the plot and client records?

You do. Survey sheets, zone data and test readings can be exported, and the file layout for each is fixed in writing at the outset.

What does it cost?

The figure depends on how many surveyors, foremen and office users there are and on how far the test forms differ from standard ones. A demo on a sample plot comes first.

Can I try a plot with real numbers?

Yes. In the demo we enter one of your own surveys, with its zones and parts list, so you can compare the quotation it produces with the one you sent.
