Follow each lot from the quarantine tag to the dispatch label, with the certificate attached.

Bulk drug reactors, granulators, blister lines, softgel encapsulators, contract suites, herbal extraction and pharma printing all run controlled batches. One batch number pulls together the dispensing sheet, the analyst results, any deviation file and the invoice. Each role opens only the screens that belong to its work.

At a glance

Raw material arrives in drums, bags and carboys, and each lot waits in quarantine until the analyst samples it and the reviewer signs the certificate of analysis. An API plant runs reactors, centrifuges and tray dryers. A tablet maker runs a rapid mixer granulator, a compression press and a coating pan. Capsule lines fill hard gelatin shells.

The paperwork weighs as much as the product. A batch manufacturing record, an equipment logbook, a line clearance checklist and a cleaning sheet each carry a signature, and the batch cannot move until every one of them is complete. Deviations, change controls and out-of-specification results sit beside them. When an inspector or a buyer asks for one, nobody should leave a dispensing booth to hunt for it. Retrieval has to be quick.

Contract suites add clients with their own specifications, artwork proofs and release rules, while herbal and nutraceutical producers bring variable botanicals, moisture checks and blend sheets into the same batch discipline. Packaging units add printed foil, leaflets and cartons with reconciliation counts. Volumes differ. Audit questions differ. The screens follow. The batch stays the thread.

The trades

Software for each kind of pharmaceutical Manufacturing business.

API manufacturers

Active pharmaceutical ingredient makers run multi-step syntheses through reactors, centrifuges and dryers, then mill and blend the final powder. The API manufacturer software holds stages, intermediates, batch records, test results and deviations together. Each final lot links back to its starting materials.

Tablet manufacturers

Tablet manufacturers dispense actives and excipients, then granulate, compress, coat and pack the tablets in blisters or bottles. The tablet manufacturer software keeps batch records, in-process checks, yields, tooling and own-brand or contract orders together. Each pack traces to its compression run.

Capsule manufacturers

Capsule manufacturers dip-mould empty hard shells from gelatin or plant-based polymer, then dry, trim, join, print and pack them for filling plants. The software holds each lot against its raw material batches, size, colour, moisture reading and inspection results. Each customer’s specification, the sorted rejects and the cartons sent out are attached to that lot.

Contract pharma manufacturers

Contract pharma manufacturers make tablets, capsules, liquids or sterile products to the specification of a client company that owns the product and answers for its release. The software holds each client’s master batch record, quality agreement terms and campaign plan, so a supervisor opening a batch sees the rules of that client and no one else. Free-issued materials, deviations, change controls and batch release packs stay on the record of the batch.

Nutraceutical manufacturers

Nutraceutical manufacturers blend, granulate, encapsulate, press and fill supplements for their own brands and for private-label customers. The software ties each finished lot to botanical and vitamin ingredient lots, potency and contaminant results, and the label copy used. The record also carries allergen changeovers, best-before dates and the sign-off each brand owner gave.

Herbal product manufacturers

Herbal product makers receive plant material from many growers, blend it by formula and sell under their own labels. The system records intake, quarantine, identity and purity checks, batches, expiry and distributor orders against one lot number, so each finished batch traces back to its raw material.

Pharma packaging manufacturers

Pharma packaging manufacturers print and convert folding cartons, leaflets, labels and blister foil for drug makers. The software holds the approved artwork version, die line, colour standard and customer code against each job. Printed-material counts, rejected sheets and destruction records stay on the job, so the team can see which version went to which customer.

What they share

Where these businesses lose time and money.

Lot status lives on tags and loose sheets

Whether a drum of solvent, a bag of lactose or a sack of chamomile flower is under test, approved or rejected sits on a coloured sticker and in a spreadsheet. Both are wrong by Friday.

Batch records are filled on paper and read late

Dispensed weights, granulation endpoints, yield figures and operator initials are collected after the shift. A blank box surfaces at review, when the operator has left and the compression suite is already cleaned.

Deviations and changes travel by email

A failed assay, a punch breakage or a revised test method starts a thread. Nobody can say who owns the investigation, which batches are on hold, or when the corrective action and its follow-up checks fall due.

Equipment history is scattered

Balance calibration, sterilisation of filter housings, cleaning status and preventive maintenance on blenders, tablet presses and capsule fillers sit in separate logbooks. A machine past its calibration date runs unnoticed.

Audit files are rebuilt for each visit

Approved supplier lists, client specifications, stability protocols and retained sample registers are pulled from many folders. Preparation takes quality staff off the floor for days.

What the software does

What we build across pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Track each lot from receipt to release

Record supplier, manufacturer batch number, expiry, sampling plan, assay result and status for every material, and block dispensing until the quality reviewer has approved the lot.

Build the batch record on screen

Hold the master formula, issue dispensed weights against the weighing balance, capture in-process checks such as hardness and loss on drying, and route the finished record by role.

Hold quality events against the batch

Log deviations, out-of-specification results and change controls with an owner, a due date and the batches they touch, so a hold shows beside the batch it affects.

Give every machine its own history

Keep calibration, cleaning, maintenance and usage against each reactor, fluid bed dryer, blister machine or label printer, and warn when a due date approaches.

Serve contract clients separately

Store specifications, artwork versions, ordered quantities and release documents per client, and share only the certificates and statuses that client may read.

Close the job with dispatch and traceability

Link finished cartons to the lots that went into them, print shipper labels and invoices from the batch, and walk a complaint back through every excipient.

Common questions

Questions pharmaceutical Manufacturing businesses ask.

Is one product enough for every pharmaceutical trade?

No. API, tablet, capsule, contract, nutraceutical, herbal and packaging units each get their own product, because reactors, presses, botanicals and printed foil need different records. Lot status and equipment history work the same way in all of them.

Can it replace our paper batch records?

It can hold the master formula, dispensing, in-process checks and sign-offs on screen. How your quality head approves electronic records and signatures is settled with you during implementation, before any paper sheet is retired.

Will it make a plant compliant or audit ready?

No. It keeps what an auditor may ask to see, such as lot status, signatures, deviations and equipment logs, each with a change history. Compliance remains between you and the body that inspects you.

Can it read results from lab instruments or line equipment?

Not on its own. A link is scoped per balance, chromatography instrument or machine once the model is known, because each one sends its data in a different way. Results can be keyed in or imported until then.
