No rule decides that a job belongs to a particular article. The manager decides, because he knows who has handled that client before and who is ready for an audit.
Hours are optional, and often skipped
Time can be logged against a job by whoever did the work. It can equally be left switched off, because the calendar and the jobs are worth having on their own.
Frequently asked questions
Can one job have two preparers?
One name holds it and others can log work against it, though splitting an audit into separate jobs works better than putting four names on one.
What happens when an article finishes his term?
His open jobs are reassigned in one screen, with their history. His logins are closed, and what he did stays on the record.
Do we have to use time sheets for this to work?
No. Jobs, due dates and statuses work on their own. Hours are a separate decision, and over a year they show which clients absorb far more effort than their fee suggests.
