Jewellery E-commerce & Business Management Software

This solution lets a jewellery seller list, price and sell online from the same piece record the showroom uses. It suits brands, showrooms and dealers who sell by weight and need the online price to follow the rate. The storefront is configured per business, and the counter side already exists.

Product status

Existing GullySystem product, with the online storefront configured around it

The showroom side already exists as GullySystem’s Jewellery Retail Management Software, which holds tag-wise stock, the daily rate and counter billing. The online store, dealer catalogue and order flow are configured around it and scoped for each business.

There is no published price, free trial or live demo for this solution. Scope and cost are settled in a written proposal after discovery.

Purpose and users

The aim is one record for each piece, read by the counter, the workshop and the website. A sale in one place then changes what the others show, instead of someone retyping it that evening.

It covers the storefront or dealer catalogue, order handling, reservation of unique pieces and the link to stock. It does not issue hallmarks, certify stones or test purity.

Modules

What is in the system.

Storefront and dealer catalogue

A consumer store, a dealer-only catalogue or both, reading prices and stock from the piece record.

Piece record

Metal, purity, weights, stones, making rule and certificate reference for every piece, shared with the showroom product.

Order management

Orders, advances, custom-order approvals and the promised date, kept on one order record.

Reservation

Holds a one-of-a-kind piece for one buyer and releases it when an order lapses.

Dispatch and returns

Weight, photographs and carrier at dispatch, with returns and exchanges set against the original order.

Workflows

How the work runs through it.

From listing to invoice

A piece is published from its record, priced at the current rate, ordered, reserved, packed and invoiced without retyping its weight.

Dealer ordering

A dealer signs in, sees rates agreed with them, orders by set or weight and is billed on account.

Custom order

A design is agreed, an advance is taken, the workshop issues metal and the order moves to dispatch with the approved design attached.

Catalogue and product data

What each product record holds.

Weights and purity

Gross, stone and net weight, and purity, are fields, not words in a description, so the price can be worked out from them.

Stones and certificates

Stone details and the certificate reference sit on the piece and appear with the listing.

Photographs and variants

Several photographs per piece, with size variants such as ring size held as options of one design.

Pricing and order rules

How prices and orders are set.

Rate and making rules

Making can be per gram, per piece or a share of metal value, as the showroom quotes it.

Dealer rates

A dealer sees the rates and terms agreed with them, and other dealers cannot see them.

Minimums and sets

Where a design is sold in sets or a minimum weight, the basket enforces it before checkout.

Stock and fulfilment

From stock to the doorstep.

One stock record

The site reads the same stock the showroom sells from, so a counter sale reaches the site on the agreed schedule.

Scheduled, not instant

Where the connected system updates on a schedule, the site says so and holds the piece in reserve in the gap.

Verified dispatch

A weight check and photograph at packing, kept with the order.

Payments, returns and refunds

Taking money and giving it back.

Payments

Cards, UPI and bank transfer through the gateway you hold an account with, with advances recorded on the order.

Returns and exchange

A return reverses or adjusts the original order, and an exchange for old metal sets its value against the new piece.

Refunds

A refund is raised against the order and the original payment, and the piece returns to stock only after inspection.

Admin controls and reporting

What the team can see and change.

Roles

Editors, counter staff, workshop and owner each see only what their work needs.

Approvals

Discounts and large orders wait for an approver, and the approval is kept with the order.

Reports

Stock by metal and purity, online and showroom sales together, reservations that lapsed and custom orders by stage.

Integrations

What it connects to, and on what terms.

Showroom product

Reads and writes the piece record of GullySystem’s Jewellery Retail Management Software.

Payment gateway

Connected for the methods your provider supports, after its API and your account are verified.

Courier

Booking and tracking for carriers able to move high-value parcels, once their API and scope are confirmed.

Deployment

How it is set up and run.

Hosted for you

Run on infrastructure we set up and manage with you, or on an account you own.

Phased

A small range first, then the full catalogue, so stock can be checked against the shop.

Customisation boundaries

What can change, and where the edge is.

What can change

Pricing rules, order stages, approvals and the look of the store are set to your business.

Where the edge is

Hallmarking, assay and certification stay with the centres that perform them. The software records their references only.

Migration and training

Moving over and getting people ready.

Bringing the data over

Tags, weights, purity and values come from your present billing system or a spreadsheet and are checked against your totals.

Training

Short sessions for editors, counter staff and the workshop, using your own pieces.

Support scope

What support covers.

Scope

Fixes, small changes and help for your team are agreed in writing, with the hours and the contacts named.

Outside scope

New channels, new markets and larger changes are quoted as separate work.

Subcategory coverage

Where each jewellery subcategory is covered.

Each subcategory is either covered by this solution or has a page of its own where its software requirements differ.

  • Gold Jewellery

    Covered on this page

Rate-linked weight pricing and tag-based stock are what the category solution already covers.

  • Silver Jewellery

    Covered on this page

Weight-based pricing and the stock link are the same as the category solution; bulk import is a configuration of it.

  • Diamond Jewellery

    Its own solution page

Stone grades, certificates and a two-part price differ from weight-based gold pricing and need their own data and flows.

  • Gemstone Jewellery

    Covered on this page

A single-stone listing with fields for origin and treatment is a configuration of the piece record in the category solution.

  • Fashion Jewellery

    Its own solution page

Fixed-price variants, drops and marketplace channels resemble apparel commerce, not weight-based jewellery, so the software needs differ.

  • Bridal Jewellery

    Covered on this page

Order tracking, advances and appointments are covered by the category solution; the shared shortlist is a configuration of it.

  • Personalised Jewellery

    Its own solution page

Capturing a customisation, proofing it and instructing a workshop is a different flow from selling stock, and needs its own data.

Is there a demo or a price list?

No. There is no published price, free trial or live demo. Scope and cost are set out in a written proposal.

Does it work with our own billing software?

That depends on what the software can share. We check its export or API first and say plainly what can be connected.
