Counter, phone and WhatsApp orders together
In the evening the counter queues, the landline rings and a flat sends a list of items. All three land on the same order list. The bill prints, stock falls and the rider leaves with the apartment order. By closing time the day’s sales, purchases and dues are on record.
Where it fits badly
A large chain buying centrally and moving stock between a warehouse and ten shops needs a retail ERP. A single counter with no credit and no delivery needs a billing app. Both are told this at the demo.
Frequently asked questions
We sell loose rice and dal. Does billing still work?
Yes, by weight rather than by barcode. Loose items are set up with a unit and a rate, and the counter takes the weight.
Can one outlet’s stock be seen from the other?
Yes, per outlet and together. Stock transfers between outlets are recorded, which keeps both counts accurate.
Half our orders come as WhatsApp voice notes. Does that change anything?
It depends on the order. Someone still has to listen to a voice note and enter it, and software does not change that. Once it is entered, the packer, the bill and the rider work from the same list.
