Quotations for AC Installation and Service Enquiries
Enquiries for a new installation, a replacement or a service contract are logged with the customer and the site. A quotation is then built from your own price list of units, piping and labour.
From the first call to the quotation
Who uses it
The owner or a sales person prepares the offer. The coordinator keeps the list of open enquiries. Accounts see which were accepted, because those turn into jobs and invoices that must be raised.
Following up
Quotes with no reply stay on the open list. A reminder can go to the customer on WhatsApp or by email. Nothing is lost.
What the client decides
Your price list, your margin on units and your terms of payment are entered by you. The software does not suggest a price. It does not compare your rates with another contractor’s either, and the offer can be no more complete than the site notes behind it.
Frequently asked questions
Can a quotation be sent from the system?
Yes. It can be shared as a document by WhatsApp or email, in the layout your business uses.
What becomes of an accepted quotation?
It turns into an installation job or a service contract, with the lines carried over, so the work is not entered a second time.
Can quotation terms such as advance payment be printed?
Yes. The terms you use, including any advance before the units are ordered, are set in the quotation layout.
Does it price a job from the room size?
No. You choose the units and lines yourself. A rule of thumb for tonnage by room size can be added to the notes if your team uses one.
