Life Insurance Agency Software Connections to WhatsApp and UPI

Messaging, payment and accounts tools that advisors already use can be linked to the agency software. Each connection depends on an outside service. The details are confirmed during scoping.

Connections the system can use

WhatsApp

Premium due messages, benefit reminders and receipts can go to clients over WhatsApp. This depends on a business account and on message templates that WhatsApp has approved, both of which are set up with you.

SMS

Reminders can go as text messages. Sender names and templates usually need registering with the SMS provider, and what is needed is confirmed in scoping. Delivery is the provider’s.

Email

Receipts, statements and policy documents can be sent by email from the agency’s own address, with the advisor’s name on the message and a copy kept on the client’s record.

UPI and payment gateway

A pay link can be added to a reminder where the agency collects money. It depends on the gateway or UPI account the agency holds, and on whether the agency takes premium money at all.

Tally export

An accountant can be given receipts and commission as an export, but this is not built in. It is scoped and quoted for the agency that wants it, once the accountant has said what format they need.

What depends on the other system

Each of these tools has its own account, charges and rules, held by you or by the provider. GullySystem sends messages and links through them but does not own them. A change on the provider’s side can need a change here.

What is confirmed during scoping

Which channels you use today, and which clients prefer which channel, are noted first. Message wording, sender names and gateway accounts are agreed next. Anything you do not use yet is left out, and it can be added later.

Insurer systems

There is no built-in link to an insurer’s portal. Policy and premium data is entered by the desk from the insurer’s papers and statements. A file import from an insurer, if you want one, is checked for that insurer and quoted separately.

What the client decides

You decide which messages clients receive and who may send them. Bulk messages need care about consent, and the wording and the list stay your responsibility. Rules on sending messages are a matter for your own legal advisor.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with WhatsApp?

Yes, through a business account and approved templates. Set-up is part of scoping. What the account allows is decided by WhatsApp, not by GullySystem, and the terms can change.

Can clients pay a premium through the agency’s UPI?

Yes, where the agency collects premium money and a UPI or gateway account is linked. Many agencies leave payment to the insurer.

Is there a Tally link?

Not built in. Commission and receipt exports can be scoped, and the format is checked with the agency’s accountant.

Can it fetch policy data from the insurer’s website?

No. Data is entered by the desk or imported from a file, and any insurer link is scoped separately.

Can a channel be left switched off?

Yes. The agency uses only the channels it chooses, and others can be added later.
