Life Insurance Agency Views for Advisors and Staff
In a life insurance agency, the owner, advisors and desk all work on the same policy. Each sees what their own work needs, from one shared record of clients, premiums, benefits and commission.
Who sees what
How access is shaped
Each person signs in with their own login and sees the clients and screens that belong to their role. An advisor cannot open another advisor’s clients without the owner’s permission. Commission figures can be hidden from roles that do not need them.
One record, several tasks
A premium paid at the desk appears on the advisor’s list and in the owner’s report straight away. A call noted by an advisor is visible to the desk. A claim opened by the desk shows on the family file. Nobody works from an old copy.
Phone access
From a phone, advisors can open a client’s policies, record a call note and check what is due. The desk and the owner can do the same. Which screens appear on a phone is agreed with you at set-up.
What the client decides
You decide the roles, who may see commission and who may edit a nominee or a status. Our team makes changes to roles on request. How a departing advisor’s clients are reassigned is for the owner to decide.
Frequently asked questions
Can an advisor see another advisor’s clients?
Only when the owner switches that on. By default each advisor sees their own book.
Can commission figures be hidden from the desk?
Yes. Commission screens can be limited to the owner and to whoever the owner names.
Can the owner see everything?
Yes. The owner’s view covers every advisor, insurer and policy in the agency.
How are clients reassigned when an advisor leaves?
The owner moves the clients to another advisor, and call notes and policy history stay on the record.
