What the month is built from
Days present
Attendance for the month, with Sundays and night call-outs marked as what they were rather than as ordinary days.
Jobs closed
Visits he completed, which is the count a per-job incentive is worked out on.
Overtime
The beehive called in after hours is paid at the rate you agreed, not at the rate somebody recalls in the first week of the next month.
Commission
Per job, per renewal, or a share of the contract value, whichever your men were actually promised.
Advances
What was taken mid-month, recovered on the payslip instead of in a separate notebook kept by one person.
Deductions, set once
PF, ESI and TDS are entered the way your accountant already applies them, and they come off each month without being worked out again. What changes month to month is attendance and jobs done. What doesn’t change is left alone.

Frequently asked questions
Can a technician be paid per job?
Yes. Jobs closed in the month are counted against his name, and the rate you agreed is applied to them. Most operators run a small fixed salary with a per-visit incentive on top, and both sit on the same payslip.
Do the payslips reach the staff?
Yes, on a login of his own. Most technicians open it on the same phone they close jobs from. A printed copy is still there for anyone who wants one in hand.
Does it file PF and ESI returns?
No. It computes the deduction and shows it on the payslip. The returns, the challans and the portal remain your accountant’s work, and nothing here changes that.
Our incentive rate changes with the season. Is that a problem?
No. Rates are entered and can be changed for a given month, which is how most operators handle the monsoon rush. Months already closed keep the rate they were paid at, so a change never runs backwards.
