Plumbing Contractor Software Connections to WhatsApp, UPI and Tally
The plumbing system connects to the channels a contractor’s office uses every day. What depends on another provider, and what is confirmed first, is listed below.
Messages to clients and plumbers
Payments
Accounts
A Tally export of bills, receipts and dues can be set up for the firm’s accountant. The layout follows the accountant’s ledgers, so a price is given once those are seen. Until then, the same figures come out as files. Nothing is lost.
What is confirmed during scoping
- Which WhatsApp and SMS providers the firm already uses
- Which messages go out, and who approves their wording
- Whether UPI links on invoices are wanted at all
- How the accountant wants bills and receipts exported
- Any other tool the firm already pays for
Frequently asked questions
Does a plumber need WhatsApp to use the system?
No. Plumbers use the system from a phone browser, at a site or at a client’s house. WhatsApp serves only the messages that go out to clients, and only if the firm wants that.
Is Tally part of the package?
Not built in. The Tally export is priced separately after the accountant’s ledger names are known and the bills to be exported have been agreed.
Can the system read bank statements?
Not by default. Receipts are entered against bills. Matching a bank statement can be quoted as separate work.
Who pays for WhatsApp and SMS charges?
Message charges are set by the provider the firm chooses. How they are billed is confirmed during scoping.
Can other tools be connected later?
Yes, where the other tool has a way to connect. Each one is scoped when the firm asks for it, and the cost is read in a written proposal.
