Reports for Restaurant Owners and Managers
Nothing here is typed twice for a report. Each figure comes from the orders, issues and bills that captains, cooks and the cashier enter through the day.
What the owner reads
Seven views cover what most restaurant owners ask for at the end of a day.
On the screen and in the hand
The owner’s screen carries the current day across the top. Bills, covers, collections and the open kitchen list sit there as the evening runs. A longer view is drawn for a week, a month or a date range you pick. Any of it can be downloaded as a sheet or sent to a phone. Where there are two outlets, a figure can cover one outlet or both.
What a report cannot tell you
- It cannot count what the kitchen or store left unentered
- It does not set a food cost target for your menu
- It does not compare your outlet with any other restaurant
- It does not explain a difference, only show one
Frequently asked questions
Can a report go to WhatsApp at closing time?
Yes. A day summary can be sent to the owner on WhatsApp or by mail once the shift is closed.
How far back can we look?
As far as the records go. Order, bill and store history stays, so a date range from last season can be drawn.
Can we get a report we have thought of ourselves?
Yes, if the data behind it is already recorded. Describe what you want to see, and a new report is priced separately.
Does our accountant get these?
Only the ones you open to him. Sales and purchase figures are usually what he reads.
