Table Bookings and Waiting List for Restaurants
Bookings taken on the phone and the queue at the door are held in one place the host and the counter can both read. Seating follows from it.
What a booking records
A booking is short to enter, because the person taking the call is usually busy.
The waiting list at the door
On a full evening the host adds walk-in parties to a list with the party size and the time they arrived. As tables are cleared, the screen suggests the parties that fit, and the host seats in the order he judges right. A guest who leaves is marked gone. The list then stays honest, and the waiting record shows how long people waited through the evening, by session and by day of the week.

Frequently asked questions
Can bookings come from our Instagram or website?
Only where a form is connected. The usual start is the host entering calls and WhatsApp messages by hand.
Does the system decide who is seated next?
No. It suggests parties that fit a free table, and the host chooses who to seat.
Can a guest be sent a reminder?
Yes. A reminder goes to the guest by WhatsApp or SMS before the booked time, on the number taken with the booking.
Is an advance payment handled here?
Yes, as an amount noted against the booking and set off when the bill is made.
