Venue and Travel Plan for Bridal Makeup Artists
This module records where each booking takes place, when the team must arrive and what the travel costs. An artist heading to a hall across the city sees the address and call time on her phone.
What is saved for each venue
Many bridal bookings happen at a kalyana mantapa, a hotel suite or the bride’s home, not at the studio. The venue details are entered once. Everyone on that booking reads them from the same place.
Several venues on one day
On a busy date the team may serve three weddings in different parts of the city. The plan puts those venues beside each other, so the owner sees whether an artist can reach the second venue after the first. Travel time is entered by the desk, because the system does not read live traffic.
Where it connects
The call time comes from the booking and goes to the roster, while the travel charge goes to the invoice. A change of venue changes all three together. Nobody has to edit them one by one.
What the studio decides
Zones, travel rates and who pays for an outstation stay are decided with the owner. The module records the plan. It does not book a cab, and it does not plan a route.
Frequently asked questions
Can outstation weddings be recorded?
Yes. The booking can carry a stay, travel by train or road and a separate charge. How the studio quotes an outstation date is set with the owner.
Does it show a map?
It stores a map link with the venue. The link opens in the phone’s own map application, which does the routing.
Who sees the venue address?
The artists and assistants assigned to that booking, and the desk. Other staff do not see it.
Can the travel charge change after quoting?
Yes. If the venue changes, the charge is edited on the booking and the invoice follows it. The earlier figure stays in the booking history.
