Views for Bridal Makeup Studio Owners, Artists and Assistants

Everyone at a bridal studio touches the same booking, but each person needs a different part of it. Each role opens the booking and sees what that person needs.

One booking, several readers

A wedding booking is made by the desk, planned by the owner, done by the artists and billed again at the counter. Each of them reads the same record. What differs is the view, which follows the permissions the owner sets for each role.

What each role sees

Owners

Booked dates, advances received, balances due, enquiries against confirmed bookings, artist workload and the dates still open for the season. The owner can limit this view for a manager.

Booking desk

Enquiries, date holds, trials, advances, reminders and invoices. The desk also sees the roster, so it knows which artist is free before it confirms a new booking to a family.

Lead artists

Their own bookings with the trial notes, the look agreed, the call time and the venue. Money on the booking stays hidden unless the owner chooses to show it.

Hairstylists and drapers

The bookings they are assigned to, with the hair and drape notes and the call time, on a phone they can open at the venue.

Assistants

The bookings they carry the kit for, the call time, the venue and the list of products to pack.

Accountant

Invoices, payments and exports for the books, with no access to client photos or skin notes.

Phone access

Artists and assistants work away from a desk, so their view is built for a phone. They open a booking at the venue, read the trial note and mark their part done. A freelance artist sees only the booking she was called for.

What the owner decides

The owner decides who sees prices, payments and client photos, and our team sets it up that way. The system hides screens by role. It cannot decide whom the studio should trust with a client’s details.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can an artist see what a bride paid?

Only when the owner turns it on. By default an artist sees the look, the call time and the venue, and nothing about payment.

Can a freelance artist be limited to one date?

Yes. She is given access to that booking and nothing else, and the access ends after the date.

Who can change a trial note?

The artist who did the trial, and the owner. A change is recorded, so the wedding-day artist reads the latest note.

Is there a separate view for the wedding planner?

Not as standard. A planner can be sent a copy of the day’s plan. A shared login for planners is considered during scoping.
