Teaching Records and Internal Assessment
Faculty record course plans, teaching progress, assignments and internal marks against the split set by the regulation. The head of department locks each subject before the exam section uses the marks.
Internal marks in one place
Internal marks are often collected from individual spreadsheets, each with its own layout and total. The exam section then retypes them under a deadline. Here faculty enter marks once in a common format, and the internal total is calculated by the module.

Frequently asked questions
Can the internal split be configured to our regulation?
Yes. Components, weights and maximum marks follow the regulation, including rules such as the better two of three tests. The internal total is calculated.
Who can change marks after they are entered?
Faculty enter and edit until the head of department locks the subject. After that, a change needs a recorded approval with a reason.
Can students see their internal marks before results?
Yes, on the portal. A disagreement can then be raised while the register is still open.
Does it track what has actually been taught?
Yes. Course plan and teaching progress are kept unit by unit, so departmental reviews and accreditation visits can compare the two.
How does the exam section know what is pending?
A live list shows the subjects and faculty still outstanding during the entry window. The section follows up with named people.
