Run admissions, semesters, exams and fees for every course from one student record.

A college runs admissions, course registration, attendance, internal marks, semester exams and fee instalments across departments that each keep their own sheets. The college system is set up with your programmes, semesters and subject combinations, so the exam section, accounts and every department read one student record.

At a glance

A college year has hard edges: the admission window, the registration week, the attendance cut-off for hall tickets, and the weeks around semester results. Each department works to those dates with its own file.

The system keeps one record per student, from the application to the transcript. Departments, the exam section and accounts all read that record, so a figure is entered once and checked by whoever needs it.

How the work runs today

Applications arrive in several forms and are sorted by hand. At the counter, staff check each document, then type the approved details again into the student register, the fee ledger and the class lists.

Each department tracks attendance on its own sheet. Near the end of the semester the office merges the sheets to find shortages, and a student who disputes a count is checked against a register that nobody trusts fully.

Internal marks reach the exam section on paper or in files of different layouts. Hall tickets wait for fee clearance. Accounts and the exam section compare their lists by phone, then again by email.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for colleges without a proper system.

Attendance sits in department sheets

A shortage list is built by merging files near the cut-off. Disputes follow, because nobody can show one record.

Internal marks are re-keyed

Each department sends marks in its own layout, and the exam section types them again. Errors surface after results are out.

Fee clearance and hall tickets drift apart

Accounts holds the dues and the exam section holds the tickets. A student cleared on one list is stopped on the other.

Students under different regulations are mixed up

Batches admitted under different credit patterns share one register. The rules that apply to a student live in somebody’s memory.

Placement and alumni records start from scratch

The placement cell keeps its own list of students and results, and alumni details are collected again after graduation, when many have already changed their phone number. Records start over.

What the software does

What we would build for colleges.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Admissions and enrolment

Record applications, collect documents, review and decide. Approved details then move into the student record, so nobody types them twice.

Programmes, semesters and course registration

Set up programmes, regulations and subject combinations once, and handle electives and add or drop requests in defined steps.

Attendance by subject and section

Record attendance by class or course, read shortage by subject and section, and draw the condonation requests and detention list from the same record.

Internal assessment and marks

Hold course plans, assignments and internal marks together, so a faculty member keeps a semester of academic work in one place.

Examinations and results

Plan exam schedules, issue hall tickets, enter marks with approvals, and keep results and grades with a traceable history that a registrar or a student can follow years later.

Fees and concessions

Set fee structures by programme, record dues, receipts and concessions, and show accounts and students the balance.

Placements and alumni

Keep student profiles, opportunities and placement outcomes together, and carry the record on as an alumni entry after graduation.

Solutions inside

The business modules colleges use most.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 1

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 2

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 3

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 4

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 5

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions colleges ask before they call.

Is it only for engineering colleges?

The engineering college system is built for engineering colleges, polytechnics and groups that run one beside other colleges. A degree college in arts, commerce or science is better served by the school and college system, which handles semesters and subject combinations. The fit is checked in scoping.

Can it run a university’s affiliation or exams for other colleges?

No. It serves one college or a group of colleges. A university that manages affiliation and examinations for others needs a different system, which this does not replace.

Can we pull out the data an accreditation cycle asks for?

The attendance, result, admission, workload and placement reports come out for your quality cell to work from. A finished submission file is not produced here. That compilation stays with the college.

Will our accountant still work in Tally?

Yes. There is no live connection to Tally. Fee records are kept here, and an export for the accounts can be arranged and quoted separately.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
