Customers try to book at ten at night, and nobody answers until morning.

An online booking portal is the page a customer opens instead of ringing you: what you offer, the dates you have free, and the details you need from him. His request lands in the same list your counter already works from. The enquiry that arrived at eleven at night is still sitting there at nine in the morning.

What it is

The missed call at nine forty in the evening was a booking. He rang the next shop at ten past, and somebody there picked up. Your front desk, meanwhile, spends the first hour of the morning copying last night’s WhatsApp messages into a register.

A page under your own name lists what you do and which slots are open. The customer chooses one and enters his own details, so the vehicle number, the pet’s name or the gothra is spelt the way he spells it. The request appears where your staff already look, and they confirm it.

Inside the module

What online booking portal does.

A page of your own

Your name, services, timings, map and photographs, on your domain. Not a listing on somebody else’s marketplace.

Slots that match the counter

Only the hours or days you genuinely have free are shown, because the page reads the same calendar your staff do.

The details you actually need

Registration number for a workshop, breed and age for a vet, gothra and nakshatra for a seva. Your fields, not a standard form.

Confirmed by a person

Requests arrive as requests. Your staff confirm, change the time, or ring back, and the customer gets the message.

Payment, if you want it

An advance or the full amount can be taken online once your own payment gateway account is connected during set-up.

It becomes the job

A confirmed booking turns into the job card, the appointment or the seva, and the customer record is created from what he typed.

Who touches it

The people who open this every day.

The customer

Books at midnight, from his sofa, without waiting for your shutter to go up.

Receptionist or advisor

Works one list instead of three, and confirms with a message from your number.

Owner

Sees how many bookings came from the page, and how many from the phone.

How it fits

It is one part of a system, not an island.

A module earns its place by what it passes to the next one. These are the connections we set up most often.

Common questions

Questions owners ask about online booking portal.

Where have you built this before?

Garage Management Software comes with a booking website whose form drops into the workshop’s booking list. Temple Management Software takes seva requests online with the date, slot, gothra and sankalpa, which the office then confirms.

Can we take money at the time of booking?

Yes, through your own payment gateway account, connected during set-up. Many owners take a small advance only for slots that get abandoned, and leave the rest to be paid at the counter.

Do we need a new website for this?

Not always. The booking page can sit on your existing site as a link or an embedded form. Where there is no site, a simple one on your own domain is usually built along with it.

All our customers are regulars who call. Is this worth it?

Then it can wait. Regulars will keep ringing, and that is fine. The page earns its place when you want customers who found you on Google at night, or when the phone is busy through the day.
