Give each customer a login to his own bills, statements and payments.

A client portal gives each customer a login to his own account: invoices, receipts, a statement, what is outstanding, and a link to pay. Requests and approvals go in there too, with a date against each. The call asking for a copy of last June’s bill stops coming, and your accounts assistant gets the morning back.

What it is

Every ledger request begins as a phone call. A client’s accounts section wants the bill from June, then a statement, then proof of a payment made in August. Somebody digs, exports, attaches and sends, and the next client asks for the same three things on Thursday.

In the portal the client sees his own account and nothing else: bills raised, payments received, what is due and when. Statements download themselves. A payment link sits against every open bill, which shortens your follow-up calls.

Inside the module

What client portal does.

His account only

Each login is tied to one customer. Two clients of the same firm never see a trace of each other.

Bills, receipts and statements

Every invoice and receipt sits there as a PDF, with a statement for any period he chooses.

Payment from the page

A UPI or gateway link against each open bill, and the receipt appears in the portal once the payment clears.

Requests with a reference

A complaint or a query becomes a ticket with a reference, and not a message on somebody’s personal WhatsApp.

Approvals on record

A quotation, a design or a work report is sent for approval, approved or returned with a note, and the date is kept.

Your branding

Your logo, your colours and your domain, so the client does not feel he has been sent somewhere else.

Who touches it

The people who open this every day.

The client’s accounts assistant

Downloads the bill and the statement at the hour that suits him, which is often after your office has shut.

Your accounts desk

Stops attaching PDFs all morning, and sees which clients have opened their bills.

Account manager

Reads the requests raised, and answers before the client escalates to the owner.

How it fits

It is one part of a system, not an island.

A module earns its place by what it passes to the next one. These are the connections we set up most often.

  • Invoice management
  • Receipts management
  • Ticket management
  • UPI and payment gateways
  • Email and WhatsApp
Common questions

Questions owners ask about client portal.

Will our clients actually log in?

Some will not, so plan for that. Keep sending the bill on WhatsApp as well. Our interior design system has a client portal of this kind, and clients with an accounts section use it most.

Is it safe to put our ledgers online?

Each login reaches one customer’s records and nothing more. Who may see what is set by role, and every login is recorded. The work includes a security review before it goes live.

Can clients pay through it?

Yes, once your payment gateway or UPI collection is connected. The receipt is raised against the right bill on its own, which saves your assistant the reconciling.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, it opens in a mobile browser. Most clients check a balance on a phone and download the statement later on a laptop.
