Manufacturing · Frozen Food Manufacturer Management Software

Raw lots, freezer runs, pallet positions and reefer readings in one cold chain record.

Manage raw material receiving, line batches, blast and tunnel freezer runs, glaze and pack weights, lot coding, cold store pallets, order picking and reefer dispatch in one system. A pack’s lot leads back to its raw deliveries and forward to the pallet and trailer that carried it. Quality staff read the same freezer log that the cold store reads.

  • Products, pack sizes, freezer programmes and shelf lives entered as your plant uses them
  • Open stock, pallets and customer lists migrated
  • Temperature and weight limits supplied by your food safety lead

Freezing plants handling vegetables, fish, meat, ready meals and bakery dough keep raw lots, freezer runs, lot coding and cold store stock in GullySystem software. Core temperatures, glaze weights and pallet positions sit beside each lot. Picking goes oldest first, and reefer readings travel with the delivery note. Limits come from your food safety lead.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Dock checks are on paper

Arrival temperatures are jotted on a delivery note. A rejected load and an accepted one look the same once the paper is filed.

Freezer logs are read after the fact

A tunnel runs slow overnight. Nobody sees it. The warm batch is found a week later, after cartons have shipped.

Pack weights vary with glaze

Prawn and fish packs carry a glaze allowance. The checkweigher results are not matched to the run that coated them.

Raw and finished lots do not connect

A recall question about one ingredient requires reading line sheets by hand across several days.

Stock is found by walking

Pickers hunt through aisles of similar cartons. Cartons look alike. The oldest pallet is not always the one that goes.

Trailer temperature goes with the driver

The print-out stays in the cab. A thaw complaint arrives with nothing at the plant to answer it.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Receiving

Check the temperature. A delivery is then given a raw lot number and released to a chiller or the line.

  2. 2

    Preparation

Washing, cutting, blanching or cooking runs against a line batch. It lists the raw lots used.

  3. 3

    Freezing

The blast freezer or tunnel run records its settings, belt speed and core temperature readings.

  4. 4

    Weighing and coding

Glaze and net weights are checked, and each carton is coded with a lot and a best-before date.

  5. 5

    Storage

Pallets are put away to a position. Their age is watched against shelf life.

  6. 6

    Dispatch

Orders are picked oldest first and loaded into a reefer, with seal number and temperature trace kept on the delivery note.

Modules

What is inside.

Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.

Raw material receiving

Log supplier, lot, arrival temperature and condition at the dock, and keep a delivery on hold until the check is signed.

Line batch records

Link each preparation batch of cut, blanched, portioned or cooked product to the raw lots it consumed.

Freezer and tunnel runs

Record programme, belt speed, air temperature and core readings per run, and flag a run that missed its target.

Glaze and weight checks

Keep checkweigher and glaze test results by lot, compared with the limits your food safety lead gives each product.

Recipes for ready meals

Hold component recipes for sauces, grains and proteins, scaled to the kettle or line batch size.

Lot codes and dating

Print lot codes and best-before dates on cartons from the shelf life held per product.

Pallet map for the cold store

Assign pallets to aisle, rack and level, and move them between stores with a transfer record.

Order picking by expiry

Allocate pallets to orders oldest first and print a pick list showing positions.

Reefer loading and delivery

Record container or trailer set-point, loading reading and seal number, and attach the trace to the delivery note.

Recall and trace search

Search any lot forward to customers and back to suppliers in one screen.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Goods Receipt (GRN)

Each delivery is matched to its order, checked for arrival temperature and held until the dock check is signed by a named person.

  • Batch and Serial Tracking

Raw lots are consumed into line batches, so a supplier lot can be followed to every carton and pallet made from it.

  • Quality Control

Checkweigher and glaze results are stored by lot, and a run outside the limits quality staff set is placed on hold.

  • Bill of Materials

Component recipes for sauces, grains and proteins scale to the kettle size, and the batch draws the matching raw lots.

  • Barcodes and Labels

Cartons print a lot code and best-before date from the shelf life held for the product and from the freezing date.

  • Warehouse Management

Pallets are put away to aisle, rack and level, and transfers between stores are logged with date and person.

  • Stock Tracking and Alerts

Stock inside the expiry window raises an alert, and picks are allocated to the oldest pallets first.

  • Shipping Integration for Order Fulfillment

The loading reading, set-point and seal number are attached to each delivery so the customer can read them on arrival.

Services

How we would put it in.

Setup, data migration, integrations and anything built on top.

Who uses it

One system, each person sees their part.

For the quality lead

Review freezer runs and weight checks, hold a suspect lot, and run a forward and backward trace.

For line and freezer operators

Open the day’s batches, record the settings and core readings, and flag a run that failed target.

For cold store staff

See pallet positions, move stock between stores, and pick against a list ordered by expiry.

For the planner

Match customer orders to stock and to the freezer runs still to come.

For dispatch

Load the reefer, record the set-point and seal, and send the delivery note with its trace.

Reports

The numbers the owner asks for.

  • Raw lots received with arrival temperature
  • Freezer runs that missed core target
  • Glaze and net weight results by lot
  • Cold store stock by age and aisle
  • Pallets within ten days of expiry
  • Deliveries with trailer trace attached
  • Forward and backward trace for a chosen lot
Good fit

Who this is built for.

  • Vegetable and fruit freezing plants
  • Fish, prawn and seafood processors
  • Meat, poultry and kebab producers
  • Ready meal and frozen snack makers
  • Frozen dough and pastry plants
Honest answer

When it is not the right choice.

Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Products and freezer programmes

Each product, pack size and freezing programme is loaded with its target core temperature and glaze allowance.

Cold store layout

Aisles, racks and levels in each store are set up so the pallet map matches the floor.

Shelf lives and dating

The life held for each product decides the date printed on every carton.

Limits and checks

Temperature and weight limits follow the plan your own food safety staff keep.

Records migrated

Open pallets, customers and suppliers are brought in from your stock sheets.

Documents and messages

Delivery notes with traces go by email, and short alerts reach the quality lead on WhatsApp or other messaging.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

How does a freezer run link to raw material?

The line batch lists the raw lots consumed, and the freezer run lists the batches it froze. Searching either lot shows the full chain.

Can we hold a pallet that failed a weight check?

Yes. The lot goes on hold. Its pallets cannot be allocated to an order until quality staff release it.

Do we need sensors to use it?

No. Readings can be typed on a phone at first. A logger feed can be connected later where the equipment can send data.

Can one pallet hold more than one lot?

Yes. A mixed pallet lists each lot and quantity. The trace works for every one.

What is checked at the dock?

The fields are yours: temperature, seal, trailer condition and paperwork. Failing one holds the lot until a named person signs it.

Can we serve retailers that want their own labels?

Yes. Pack and carton labels are stored per customer and printed from the order, with that customer’s code format.

Will it show the oldest stock at a glance?

Yes. The cold store screen sorts pallets by expiry, and a warning appears for any pallet inside the window you set.

What happens before we commit?

First comes a short session on a couple of your own products, following a raw lot all the way to a reefer. A quotation then reflects your sites and users.
