Lot records from resin drum to released carton.

Manage resin and component lots, batch records, line clearance, pouch counts, outside ethylene oxide or gamma sterilisation loads, release holds, expiry labels and customer shipments in one system. Each lot of syringes, IV sets, catheters or dressings carries its barrel, plunger and tubing lots, its counts and its cycle result. Stores, moulding, assembly, quality and dispatch staff open one lot record, and nobody retypes a pouch count into a second sheet at the end of the shift.

  • Your item codes, lot number format, carton legends and label artwork are keyed in from the present set before the first lot opens on the line.
  • Component stock in the store and lots still running are carried over, each under its supplier lot, so nothing restarts from zero.
  • When a check, label master or pack level changes later, our staff make the edit for you on request, so no one on your floor needs a technical background.

Medical Disposables Manufacturer Management Software keeps one record for every lot of syringes, infusion sets, catheters and dressings. Each finished lot holds its polypropylene and tubing lots, rejects and cycle result, so a hospital query about a plunger tip traces back to one resin drum. Labels print expiry from the released record.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Every component lot lives in a different book

An infusion set joins tubing, a drip chamber, a roller clamp, a luer connector, a needle hub and pouch film, each from a different supplier lot. No book links them.

Sterilised and unsterilised stock look alike

Cartons waiting for the chamber and cartons returned with a cycle result stand in the same corner of the warehouse, and only a pallet tag tells them apart.

Reject counts arrive after the shift is over

Short shots, flash, bent needles, cracked luer hubs and weak peel seals are added on a paper count sheet after the shift, long after the operator could have corrected it. Yield is guessed, never known.

Expiry dates decide what ships first

Shelf life differs by product, pouch material and sterilisation method, so the warehouse must find the oldest released lot of a given code before the newer pallets stacked ahead.

Complaint files are rebuilt by hand

A hospital quotes a lot number, and someone walks between stores, moulding and quality collecting the receipt note, the moulding sheet and the cycle report before replying. Days pass.

Every customer wants its own label

Private-label customers ask for their own carton marks, shipper legends and barcode layouts, so label masters multiply in shared folders and the wrong artwork reaches the printer.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Receipt and quarantine

Resin, tubing, needles, pouch film and cotton arrive by supplier lot, and each delivery waits in quarantine until the incoming inspection of dimensions, appearance and certificates is signed.

  2. 2

    Line clearance and start

The line is cleared of the previous product’s labels, pouches and loose parts and signed, the lot opens with its product code, and the component lots are drawn.

  3. 3

    Making and packing

Operators record counts, rejects and pouches filled at each station, and every blister tray, peel pouch and inner box is tied to the lot before the shipper is closed.

  4. 4

    Sterilisation

Lots go on pallets to the outside chamber, and the returned cycle result, whether an ethylene oxide record or a gamma dose report, is saved against each lot.

  5. 5

    Quality release

The lot stays on hold until the checks you define are complete, such as seal strength and visual sampling, then moves to released stock with its expiry date.

  6. 6

    Shipment and tracing

Dispatch picks released lots oldest first, prints carton labels and delivery notes, and keeps every shipment linked to the lot it carried, ready for a recall query.

Modules

What is inside.

Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.

Product and lot masters

Hold product codes, pack configurations, component lists and lot number formats for syringes, infusion sets, urine bags, catheters and gauze dressings, with each pack level from pouch to shipper.

Component receipt and quarantine

Receive barrels, plungers, tubing, needles and film by supplier lot, place each on hold, and release it only after the incoming checks and the supplier certificate are filed.

Lot manufacturing records

Open a lot, record the line, shift, mould cavity, counts, rejects and component lots used, and close it with a yield worked out from pieces moulded against pieces packed.

Line clearance sheets

Sign the clearance of each line before a new lot starts, covering labels, loose pouches and leftover components, and search the sheets later by date, line or lot.

Cleanroom and packing counts

Count pouches, inner boxes and shippers by operator and line in the cleanroom, so the packed quantity can be set against the pieces moulded and the rejects binned.

Outside sterilisation loads

Build load lists, track pallets sent and received, and attach the chamber cycle record, with its load number and cycle date, to every lot in that load.

Quality hold and release

Keep each lot on hold until the required checks are signed, then record the releaser, the date and any deviation noted during the lot, beside the result.

Expiry and label printing

Calculate expiry from the manufacture or sterilisation date, and print inner box, carton and shipper labels with lot, expiry and barcode from the released lot only.

Customer shipments

Allocate released lots by remaining shelf life, oldest first, and link each delivery note to the lot shipped so that a later recall query finds every consignee.

Complaint and lot tracing

Start from a lot number and see its resin and component lots, moulding shift, sterilisation load, release record and every customer who received a carton.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Goods Receipt (GRN)

Resin, tubing, needles and film are checked against the order on arrival and parked in quarantine until the incoming inspection of each supplier lot passes.

  • Batch and Serial Tracking

Every finished lot records the supplier lots of barrels, plungers, tubing or cotton drawn for it, so a hospital query leads back to its parts.

  • Bill of Materials

Each syringe, set or dressing pack carries its component list and pack levels, which the lot draws from when it opens on the line.

  • Quality Control

A lot stays on hold until the checks your quality staff define are signed, with the releaser and the date kept beside the result.

  • Job Work Management

Pallets sent to a sterilisation site are tracked out and back, with the returned chamber cycle result attached to each lot in the load.

  • Work Order Management

A lot opens as a work order for a moulding line and shift, and counts, rejects and yield are recorded as the run proceeds.

  • Barcodes and Labels

Carton and shipper labels print the lot, expiry and barcode from the released record, using the label master of the customer and the pack level.

  • Stock Tracking and Alerts

Released stock is listed by lot and expiry month, and dispatch picks the pallet with the shorter remaining shelf life first, so near-dated cartons ship early.

Services

How we would put it in.

Setup, data migration, integrations and anything built on top.

Who uses it

One system, each person sees their part.

For stores

Receive barrels, tubing and film by supplier lot, hold them in quarantine until inspection clears them, and issue only released components to lots in progress.

For production

Open lots, clear the line against the last product, record counts and rejects at each press and station, and close the lot with a yield.

For packing

Count sealed pouches into inner boxes and shippers, label each tier, and note the pallets prepared for the next sterilisation load so none is sent twice.

For quality

Review lot records and the returned cycle report, log inspection results against each lot, and decide whether to release it or hold it for a deviation.

For dispatch

Pick released lots by shelf life, oldest first, then print the carton labels and delivery notes that name the lot on every pallet leaving the dock.

Reports

The numbers the owner asks for.

  • Lots in quarantine, sterilisation and released stock
  • Yield and rejects by lot and line
  • Component lots used per finished lot
  • Sterilisation loads out and results pending
  • Stock by expiry month
  • Shipments by lot and customer
  • Complaints with the lot history attached
Good fit

Who this is built for.

  • Makers of syringes and needles
  • Manufacturers of IV sets and infusion accessories
  • Producers of catheters, tubes and drainage bags
  • Makers of gauze, dressings and surgical swabs
  • Private-label packers of single-use clinical products
Honest answer

When it is not the right choice.

  • A distributor of disposables that moulds and packs nothing will find a trading and stock tool closer to its work than a lot manufacturing record.
  • Makers of orthopaedic implants, monitors or other electronic instruments, which need serial numbers and device history files, will find Medical Device Manufacturer Management Software closer.
Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Product families

Syringe sizes, infusion set types and gauze dressing packs are entered with their component lists, pack levels and the label legends each customer expects on the carton.

Lot and expiry rules

Lot number formats follow your plant and line codes, and expiry is counted from manufacture or from sterilisation, whichever your products and customers treat as the starting point.

Release steps

Your quality team picks the checks, such as seal strength or visual sampling, and who signs each one, and we walk through the layout with them before go-live.

Sterilisation partners

Your outside sterilisation sites and their load sheets are set up, so a returned load report, ethylene oxide or gamma, can be matched to the lots it covers.

Labels and currency

Label masters per customer, tax invoice formats, language of the carton legend and currency settings are set for each country you ship to, including export consignments.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

Can a finished lot show what went into it?

Yes. The lot lists every component lot drawn for it, so a query about a plunger tip or a length of tube points to the finished lots that used it.

Does it work with an outside sterilisation vendor?

Yes. You prepare a load, send it, and when the vendor returns the cycle record it is attached to each lot in the load.

Can stock be shown by expiry?

Yes. Released stock is listed by lot and expiry month, and dispatch can pick the pallet with the shorter remaining life first, so near-dated cartons leave before fresh ones.

Does it manage private-label packs?

Yes. A customer can have its own carton and shipper labels, held as label masters tied to the product and the customer.

How are rejects recorded?

Operators note rejects by stage and reason during the lot, for example short shots at moulding or seal faults at packing. Yield is worked out when the lot closes.

Can quality staff hold a lot?

Yes. A lot stays on hold until the checks you define are signed, and dispatch cannot allocate it to a delivery note before release.

What if a hospital reports a lot?

Search by lot number. The component lots, moulding line, packing counts, sterilisation load and every customer shipment appear together on one screen, ready for the reply to the hospital.

What does the quote depend on?

After a demo built on your own products, you receive a written proposal that depends on sites, users and how much set-up you want.

Can old stock and lots be loaded?

Yes. Current component stock, open lots, released stock with expiry dates and product masters can be loaded from your spreadsheets before go-live, so the first day starts with real pallets.

Does the software certify our records?

No. It holds the records your quality and regulatory staff decide to keep, such as release signatures and cycle reports, and the compliance decisions stay with your own people.
