What depends on the other side

Each connection is only as steady as the service behind it. Timings differ by provider. A messaging provider sets its own template rules, a gateway has its own settlement timing, and a GPS unit reports when the device and the network allow. Tally reads what its ledger structure expects, which is why the layout comes before the export. During scoping we list the accounts and devices you hold, say which links are straightforward and which need work, and quote them separately. The messaging provider charges for its own service. Connecting it to your move records is quoted as part of the proposal.

Will our existing lorry trackers work?

Possibly. The make and the data it shares are checked during scoping, and a link is quoted once that is known.

Does payment collection happen inside the system?

Yes, where a gateway or a UPI account is connected. Settlement into your bank follows the provider’s own timing.

Can accounts entries go straight into Tally?

Not without setting up the layout. Once your ledgers are confirmed, an export file is prepared and priced.
