Move Booking Calendar for Movers
An agreed quotation becomes a booking with a packing date, a loading date and an advance against it. The calendar then shows the coordinator every move the firm has promised.
What a booking fixes
Reading the calendar
The coordinator opens the calendar each morning and sees packing, loading, transit and delivery days side by side. A day already carrying three moves shows as full before a fourth is promised. Society restrictions and month-end crowding are visible while the desk is still on the phone with a new caller. A move whose advance has not come in is marked, so nobody sends a crew against a booking nobody confirmed.
Changes after booking
What the booking does not do
- Crew names and the lorry come from allocation, which is its own screen
- No payment gateway is used unless the customer pays an advance online
- Retention on a cancelled booking follows your own terms
- How many moves one day can hold is a judgement the coordinator makes
Frequently asked questions
Can a booking be made before the advance comes?
Yes, and it shows as unconfirmed on the calendar. The coordinator can see which bookings still carry nothing against them, and can chase the family before a crew is promised.
What happens when a family postpones?
The dates are changed on the booking, and the crew and vehicle plan follows. The earlier date stays in the record.
Does the calendar cover more than one city office?
Yes. Each office reads its own days, and the owner can look at every office together.
Can the customer be reminded of the packing date?
Yes. A message goes out a day or two before, by WhatsApp or text, with the crew arrival time.
