Bridal Trial Booking and Look Notes for Makeup Artists
This module books the bridal trial and saves the look that was agreed. The artist who does the wedding morning opens the same notes, whoever sat with the bride at the trial.
Booking the trial
A trial is a booking in its own right, with an artist, a date, a time and a charge where the studio takes one. Some studios credit the trial against the package. That rule is set with the studio.
What a look note holds
Where the notes are used
The wedding-day artist reads the note on a phone at the venue, and the assistant reads it to pack the right shades and tools for the morning. A return client’s earlier looks stay in her profile for the next event. Nothing is rewritten.
What the studio decides
The studio decides which fields a look note carries and whether the trial is charged. The module stores the notes. It does not judge a look, and it does not replace the conversation between artist and bride.
Frequently asked questions
Can a bride have more than one trial?
Yes. Each trial is saved as its own note, so the artist can compare the first and the second look before the final one is chosen.
Are skin allergies recorded?
Yes. A reaction is saved against the client and shown on every later booking. What the studio does about it is for the artist to decide.
Can photos be attached?
Yes. Photos of the trial look and the bride’s own reference pictures sit with the note. Storage and sharing rules are reviewed during set-up.
Does the trial have to be booked first?
No. A booking can be taken without a trial, which suits a guest or a short-notice event. The studio sets whether a trial is required for bridal bookings.
