A diagnostic centre rarely has one price for a scan. Walk-ins pay the counter rate. A hospital pays its agreed rate, and a corporate health check has its own. This module keeps each list apart and applies the right one when the visit is billed.

Lists are named the way the centre talks about them.
Health check packages
A package groups scans and tests under one name and one price. Billing shows the package as a single line, while the worklist still lists each study inside it, so the ultrasound room and the lab each see their own part.
Changes and approvals
- Who may edit a rate list, and whether a second person approves the change.
- The date from which a new rate applies, with old bills left as they were.
- Whether the desk may override a rate, and if so, up to what limit.
Frequently asked questions
Can one patient have scans on two different rate lists?
Yes. A corporate package can sit beside an extra scan billed at the counter rate on the same visit.
Do old bills change when a rate is updated?
No. A new rate applies from its start date. Earlier bills keep the rate they were raised at.
