Views for Electrical Contractor Owners, Supervisors and Technicians
An electrical contracting firm has more than one person working on the same site. Each sees the quotations, stores, attendance and bills that belong to their own work, and nothing beyond that.
The people around one site
A single wiring job passes through the estimator, the supervisor, the store and the accounts desk. The same record is read by all of them, through a different screen.
Where the views overlap
A measurement entered by a supervisor reaches the office as a line on a running bill. A material issue by the store appears in the owner’s site cost. Nobody re-keys a figure. Each entry is made once.
Who may change what
Viewing and editing are set separately for each role. Many firms let supervisors enter a measurement but not alter a rate, and let only the owner approve a discount.
What the firm decides
The owner decides which role sees costs, which role approves a quotation and whether a supervisor may issue material directly. Roles are set up during implementation. If a role needs changing afterwards, we make the edit for you.
Frequently asked questions
Can a supervisor see only their own sites?
Yes. A supervisor can be limited to the sites assigned to them, so another team’s costs and quantities stay out of view.
Who can see what a technician is paid?
Only the roles the owner chooses, usually the owner and the accounts desk.
Can a new role be added later?
Yes. Our team adds a role on request, for instance a purchaser who sees stock and supplier orders only.
Does every person need a phone login?
No. Technicians who only take assigned calls can be given limited access, and some firms let the supervisor enter attendance for the whole team.
