Follow-up and Case Progress in Homeopathy Clinics
Each follow-up records how the patient reports against the last prescription and when the next review is due. Overdue patients appear on a list, so the clinic knows whom to call.
What a follow-up visit records
A homeopath judges a case by the response to the earlier remedy. The follow-up screen opens with that remedy and the previous notes in view.
The follow-up diary
The diary lists patients by review date for each doctor. Those who have passed their date appear separately. Reception calls or messages them. A patient who has stopped treatment can be marked closed, so the list shows only people still under care.
Acute and chronic cases
A fever or a cold may need a review within days, and a chronic skin or joint complaint within weeks. Each case gets its own interval from the treating doctor. Once a date is set, the diary treats them alike.
What the clinic decides
- How many days past a review date count as overdue
- Who contacts overdue patients, the desk or the doctor
- Whether a closed case needs the doctor’s sign-off
- How the doctor words better, same and worse
- Whether progress is rated by the doctor or the patient
Frequently asked questions
Can the doctor see earlier visits while writing the follow-up?
Yes. The last prescription and notes stay beside the new entry, and the full visit history is one click away.
Does the system mark a case as cured?
No. The doctor decides when a case is closed and records the reason.
What if a patient reports by phone?
A phone follow-up can be logged against the case with the date, what was reported and any change made to the medicine.
Can overdue patients be messaged together?
Yes, by WhatsApp or SMS, once the clinic has approved the wording. Doctors can still call individual patients.
