Homeopathy Prescriptions with Potency and Dose
Each prescription records the remedy, potency, form of medicine, dose and how often it is repeated. It prints in the clinic’s format and goes to the dispensary as the instruction to prepare the medicine.
What a prescription carries
Homeopathic prescriptions differ from most others, because the potency and the repetition matter as much as the remedy.
From prescription to dispensary
Once the doctor saves the prescription, it appears on the dispensary list. The dispensary prepares the medicine and marks it dispensed. The remedy and quantity are then taken off stock, and the charge passes to the bill.
Printed prescription
The print carries the clinic’s name, the doctor’s registration details as the doctor supplies them, the patient’s name, the date, the medicine and the instructions. Language and layout follow the clinic’s existing prescription pad.
What the client sets up
- The remedy list and the potencies in use
- Forms of medicine and pack sizes
- Standard dose instructions in English or a local language
- Which details appear on the printed prescription
- Whether the doctor may edit a prescription after dispensing
Frequently asked questions
Can the same prescription be repeated at a follow-up?
Yes. The doctor can copy the last prescription forward and change the potency or dose before saving.
Can instructions print in Kannada or Hindi?
Yes, where the clinic supplies the wording. Standard instructions are stored in the languages the clinic uses.
Does it check for allergies?
It shows any allergy or sensitivity noted in the file when the doctor prescribes. It does not judge a remedy.
What happens if a prescription is changed after dispensing?
The change is dated and the earlier version is kept, so the file shows what the patient first received.
