Patient Reminders for Homeopathy Follow-ups
Reminders reach patients on WhatsApp, as texts or by email, based on appointment and review dates in the case. The clinic approves the wording, and reception sees which patients have been messaged.
Messages the clinic can send
Each message is triggered by a date or an event in the patient’s file.
Wording and language
Templates are written once by the clinic, in English, Kannada, Hindi or another language. Reception does not write each message by hand. Messages carry no case details beyond what the clinic approves, since a phone may be shared in a household.
Channels
WhatsApp and SMS both depend on an account with a provider. Which provider and which account type is used, and what registration is required for templates, is confirmed during scoping. Email goes from the clinic’s own address.
What the clinic decides
- Which messages are sent and which are left off
- How many days ahead a reminder goes
- Which language each patient receives
- Whether a patient can opt out of messages
- Who may send a one-off message to a patient
Frequently asked questions
Are reminders sent automatically?
Yes, once the clinic has switched them on. Each reminder follows the date stored in the case.
Can a patient reply to confirm?
Replies reach whichever number the clinic uses. Whether they update the booking directly depends on the channel and is scoped.
Can messages mention the remedy?
Only if the clinic wants that. Many clinics leave the medicine out of reminders for privacy.
Does it send festival greetings?
It can send a general message to a chosen group of patients, such as those on the active list.
