From Enquiry to Sanction on One Loan File

A loan application should not live in a WhatsApp thread. Every enquiry, document, appraisal note and approval sits on the file it belongs to, carrying the date it was added and the person who added it.

What the file holds

An enquiry is logged the day it arrives, with where it came from: a walk-in, a DSA, a word from an old borrower. When it becomes an application, the KYC papers, income proof and guarantor details are attached to that application. Nothing sits loose in somebody’s phone gallery.

Where a file usually stalls

Most applications are not refused. They wait.

One paper short

Aadhaar came on Monday, the bank statement on Thursday, the guarantor’s photo never. A checklist per loan product shows what is in and what is missing, so the officer chases one thing rather than asking for everything again.

The appraisal in somebody’s head

Income, existing borrowings, credit history and the officer’s own risk note are written on the file. Whoever approves reads that page, not a message forwarded twice.

Approval given on a phone call

Approval levels are set by amount and by product. A file cannot reach disbursement until the right person has signed off, and the log keeps their name and the time they did it.

Through to disbursement

  • Loan products with their own interest method, tenure, fees and document checklist
  • Applications pending sanction, and the paper each one is waiting for
  • Each release recorded with date, amount, mode and bank reference
  • Part disbursements tracked against the sanctioned amount on larger loans
  • The EMI schedule generated from the rate, the tenure and the start date
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the software decide who gets the loan?

No. It records what your officer found, what the approver decided and when. The credit call stays with your people, and afterwards the file shows exactly who made it.

Can we keep our own loan products and approval levels?

Yes, and they are configured before anyone goes live. Interest method, tenure, fees, EMI frequency and who signs off which amount are set to match the way you lend today.

Will it pull a credit bureau report?

No. This is not core lending software for a bank or an NBFC, so it doesn’t fetch bureau reports or file regulatory returns. It keeps the application record, with its documents and approvals, that your auditor can work from.
