One connected system for roof inspections, quotations, crews, material and bills.
Manage roofing enquiries, site inspections, quotations, material orders, crew schedules, variations, stage bills and warranty calls in one system. A roof is held as one job, which gathers its measurements, covering, photographs and dues from the first visit until the last payment. On a phone, each crew lead opens only his or her own roofs, while the office reads the identical record.
- Covering types, rate list and job stages keyed in to follow your own quoting
- Existing clients, roofs in hand and outstanding bills brought in
- Our team amends covering and labour rates when you ask
Roofing Contractor Management Software, configured by GullySystem, carries a roofer’s enquiries, inspections, quotations, material orders, crew days and bills. Each roof is one job with its measurements, covering, photographs, variations and stage bills. Crew leads see their own roofs on a phone. Leak calls and warranty terms stay on the same record after handover.
What goes wrong before the software.
How the work flows through it, step by step.
- 1
Enquiry
An enquiry comes in as a call, a web form or a message. It is logged under the client and the site address, with the kind of roof and the work asked for.
- 2
Inspection and quotation
The estimator climbs, measures pitch and area, and photographs ridge, valleys and flashings. The quotation is priced from the rate list, and the client accepts it, haggles over it or walks away.
- 3
Order and schedule
Once the client accepts, the quotation turns into a job. Slates or tiles, battens and underlay are ordered, deliveries are expected against it, and scaffold and a crew are booked for the first dry day.
- 4
Work on site
The crew lead records area stripped and relaid each day, days lost to rain and photographs. Rotten timber and other variations are raised and approved before the work goes ahead.
- 5
Billing
Measured work and approved variations become a stage bill or a final invoice. Receipts are posted against it. Retention held by the client is shown.
- 6
Handover and warranty
The handover is recorded with the covering fitted and the warranty terms. Later leak calls are logged against the same roof.
What is inside.
Every module can be switched on, left out or changed to match how your team already works.
The business modules it is built from.
Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.
- Lead Management
Each enquiry is logged with its source and address, the inspection is booked, and measurements and photographs stay on the client record.
- Estimate/Quotation Management
Quotations are priced item by item from the firm’s covering, material and labour rates, and every revision is kept beside the open quotes.
- Work Order Management
Each roof runs as a job with stages, crew, material and schedule, from preparation through to final inspection and handover.
- Purchase Order Management
Orders to suppliers are raised against a roof, so quantities ordered can be read beside the area measured for that job.
- Stock Tracking and Alerts
Coverings, fasteners and flashing are recorded as received, issued to site and returned as offcuts, with reorder levels set for items used often.
- Attendance & Time Tracking
Crew attendance and days lost to weather are marked per roof, and hours or piece-rate pay are worked out from those entries.
- Invoice Management
Stage bills and the final invoice are raised from measured area and approved variations, with retention tracked and receipts posted against each.
- Ticket Management
A ticket opens for each leak report, a crew is sent, and the cause and the visit are recorded against that roof.

Questions owners ask before a demo.
Is it for new roofs, repairs or both?
Both. A repair is a short job with one visit, a new roof runs in stages, and a leak call after handover is a ticket against the same roof.
Will quotations use our own covering and labour rates?
Yes. Slate, tile, membrane and labour rates are entered once, and each quotation picks from them. A re-priced quotation sits beside the original for comparison.
Can it compare material ordered with material measured?
Yes. Orders and deliveries sit against the job, and the area measured on the roof is shown beside them. Differences are visible before the next merchant order.
How are variations handled?
Extra work such as rotten rafters or added flashing is recorded with photographs and a cost, then sent to the client for approval. Once approved, it flows into the next stage bill.
Do crews work from a phone?
Yes. A crew lead sees the roofs booked and records area done, hours and photographs. The system runs online, so entries wait on the phone until a signal returns on a high roof.
Can the figures reach our accountant’s package?
Invoices, receipts and balances can be exported for whoever keeps your books. Linking to one named accounting package is extra work, priced after the first workshop.
Can open roofs and unpaid bills be moved?
Yes. Your job register or spreadsheet supplies client names, roofs still open and bills outstanding. The office compares the imported figures with it before crews depend on them.
Who owns the data?
You do. The form in which your roof records and photographs can be exported is agreed and written into the quotation first.
What does it cost?
No price is published. Pricing follows the number of logins and the modules you turn on. We open with a demo of a roof measurement report and a quotation, then put the figure in writing.
Wondering what it costs? Six questions give you a written scope and the buckets any quote should separate.
