Installation Crew Schedule for Signage Companies
Crews are assigned to sites by date, each with the address, the access need and the job sheet. When the board is up, the crew adds the installed photo and the client’s sign-off from the site.
What a crew sees for the day
Closing the visit
A visit closes with the installed photo and the client’s sign-off, taken at the site. A board that could not be fixed is marked with the reason, such as a locked shutter or a missing power point. The office then books a second visit on the same job.
Planning the week
- Crew days booked against jobs due for installation
- Sites that need scaffolding hire booked in advance
- Visits left open because nobody was at the site
- Crews carrying two or more jobs on one route
What the schedule does not do
There is no vehicle tracking and no route map. That is outside this record. Wages for crew members, and who is hired for a day when a job runs large, are handled in your own records. Safety practice at height stays with the contractor.
Frequently asked questions
Can a job use more than one crew?
Yes. A large board or a rooftop sign can be given two crews, each with its own date.
Where is the installed photo stored?
On the job, next to the survey photos, so the before and after pictures of the wall can be viewed together.
What happens if rain stops the work?
The visit is moved to a new date on the same job, and the original date stays in the history.
