Signage Software Connections to WhatsApp, UPI and Tally
A board maker already talks to clients on WhatsApp, collects money by UPI and hands figures to an accountant. The signage system connects to these, and each link is confirmed during scoping.
The connections
What depends on the other system
Each link relies on a service that someone else runs. A message needs an active WhatsApp or SMS account. A payment link needs a gateway account in your name. A Tally file needs the ledger names your accountant already uses.
Confirmed during scoping
- Which messaging number and provider the business uses
- Whether the client already holds a payment gateway account
- Which Tally version and ledger layout the accountant works with
- Which messages go automatically and which are sent by a person
What works without them
The system runs without any link. Quotations can be printed, invoices downloaded and payments entered by hand, which is how many board makers begin before they switch a link on. Links remove retyping, but the job record does not depend on them. Charges levied by a gateway or message provider are theirs and are not set here.
Frequently asked questions
Can clients approve artwork over WhatsApp?
Yes, if you accept it as approval. The client’s reply is attached to the mock-up version on the job.
Does it connect to Tally directly?
An export for Tally can be arranged. Whether a live link is worth building depends on how your accountant keeps the books, and that is decided at scoping.
Can the system read bank statements?
No. Receipts are entered against invoices, or arrive through a payment link. Matching a bank statement stays with your accounts team.
