Reports for Signage Business Owners and Managers
These reports gather what a signage business records in separate places: surveys, quotations, job cards, stock, crews and invoices. Each one reads from the live job records.
The reports
Who acts on them
Each report goes to the person who can move it. The owner reads jobs by stage and held invoices. Storekeepers read material to reorder. The sales team works from the quotation list, and the office plans crews from installations due.
What the figures reflect
A figure can show no more than the records behind it contain. A quotation not entered does not appear. A crew that never adds its photo leaves an invoice on the held list. An odd number usually points to a missing entry.
What your team decides
- Which reports each person opens each morning
- How stages are named for your own workshop
- Which branches roll up into the owner’s view
- Whether a report can be exported as a sheet
Frequently asked questions
Are the figures live?
Yes. The reports change as surveys, stages and invoices are entered, so no month-end compilation is needed.
Can a report be added beyond this list?
Yes, provided the figures are already held in the system. Further reports are specified with your team in the first workshop.
Does a report show profit on a board?
It can show quoted price against material, vendor cost and crew days that were recorded. How overheads are shared across jobs is the owner’s call, taken with advice from the books keeper.
