Approval Submissions for Architecture Projects
Submission work leaves a long paper trail. Every set lodged, every query raised and every reply sent is dated and kept with the project it belongs to.
What a submission record holds
Who handles a submission
Liaison staff carry the file and record what happened at the counter. The project architect prepares the sets and answers the drawing queries. A principal reads how long a submission has been lying with the authority and what the last movement on it was, without calling the person who carried the file. Partners sign what has to be signed.
What the record is used for
What this page does not claim
- It does not decide what an authority will accept
- It does not fill statutory forms, your office prepares those
- It does not predict how long a sanction takes
- It does not replace the file your liaison staff carry
Frequently asked questions
Does it submit drawings online for us?
No. Your staff lodge the set as they do today, and the system keeps the record of what went and when.
Can more than one authority be tracked on a project?
Yes. Each body has its own submission list, queries and replies under the same project.
Are the submitted sets stored?
Uploads sit against the submission. Whether the files stay here or on a cloud drive is decided with you.
What about fire, water and power clearances?
They are held as separate submissions with their own queries. Which ones apply to a building is for your office and the client’s advisor.
