Every site wants a quick visit, and we never bill half of them.
A civil or structural engineering consultancy runs on drawing revisions and pre-pour site inspections, and the extra visits are rarely billed. GullySystem builds consultancy software that keeps a drawing and revision register, logs every inspection with photos, and ties fees and extra visits to invoices. When a stability certificate is due, the inspection notes are already in one file.
A structural consultant’s work does not end with the drawings. Reinforcement checks before each pour, contractor queries, and soil report reviews keep coming for months.
We build tools that record that work as it happens. The free technology audit starts with how your office tracks drawings, visits, and fees today.
An architect or builder sends a plan and a soil test report. Your engineers design the foundations, columns, beams, and slabs, and issue structural drawings and bar bending schedules. Revisions follow every change in the architecture, and each set goes out by email with a new revision letter.
During construction, the site engineer calls before every slab pour for a reinforcement inspection. You check the steel and shuttering and give instructions on WhatsApp, and the stability certificate comes at the end. Fees are billed by stage in Tally, while extra visits are often forgotten.
What goes wrong for civil and structural engineers without a proper system.
The site poured without our check
The request came on a Sunday, nobody logged it, and now the slab is cast without a signed inspection.
Extra visits never reach the invoice
The agreement allowed eight visits, the engineer made twenty, and nobody counted.
Old revisions keep coming back
The contractor’s printout is two revisions behind, and the difference is in the steel.
Certificates depend on paper files
Issuing a stability certificate means finding every inspection note for that building.
What we would build for civil and structural engineers.
Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.
Drawing and BBS register
Every structural drawing and bar bending schedule with revision, date, and who received it.
Site inspection report
A phone form for pre-pour checks, with photos, remarks, and a pass or hold signed by the engineer.
Visit counter against the agreement
Counts visits per project against what the fee covers and flags extra ones for billing.
Stage fee invoicing
Fees by design stage and by visit, pushed to Tally with GST.
Project file for certificates
All inspections, drawings, and test reports for a building in one place when a certificate is due.

Will it work with our Tally books?
Yes. Stage and visit invoices can be created here and posted to Tally, so the accounts side does not change.
Does it replace ETABS or STAAD?
No. Your engineers keep designing in those tools. This records what was issued, inspected, and billed.
Is a shared drive enough for us?
For drawings alone, often yes. The gap is usually inspections and extra visits, and if the audit finds a sheet will fix it, we will say so.
Can the contractor request a pre-pour inspection through it?
Yes. The contractor’s site engineer raises a request with the slab and date, and it reaches your engineer’s phone. A request made on a Sunday is still on record on Monday.
What happens in the free technology audit?
We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.
How much will the software cost?
We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
