Architecture and engineering · Software for industrial automation companies

The panel shipped, commissioning dragged on, and the retention money is still with the customer.

An industrial automation company runs on offers, panel builds, and site commissioning, and retention money and service calls slip once the panel has shipped. GullySystem builds software for automation firms that tracks each project from offer to commissioning and controls panel material and imported parts. Service visits are logged against warranty and AMC, so retention and service revenue are not forgotten.

At a glance

Automation projects rarely end on the day the panel ships. There is commissioning at the plant, punch points, operator training, and retention held against final acceptance.

We build project and service tracking for integrators and panel builders. The free technology audit looks first at how your offers, BOMs, and service calls are handled.

How the work runs today

A plant sends an enquiry for a machine upgrade, a SCADA system, or a new MCC panel. Your engineers prepare a techno-commercial offer with a BOM of PLCs, drives, HMIs, sensors, and cabling. After the PO, parts are ordered from distributors, some with long lead times, and the panel is wired in your workshop.

The customer attends a factory acceptance test, the panel is dispatched with an e-way bill, and an engineer spends days at the plant commissioning it. Payments come against milestones, with a percentage held until the final sign-off. After that, breakdown calls arrive on the engineer’s personal phone, and program backups sit on someone’s laptop.

Where it breaks

What goes wrong for industrial automation companies without a proper system.

Parts for one project get used on another

A drive meant for one panel is pulled for an urgent job, and the first project stops at FAT.

Retention is never followed up

Final acceptance happens, and the held amount sits unclaimed because nobody tracked it.

Program backups live on laptops

The plant calls with a fault, and the latest PLC program is on an engineer who has left.

Service calls are unbilled

Engineers fix breakdowns out of goodwill, and the visit never becomes an invoice.

What the software does

What we would build for industrial automation companies.

Named the way your team already talks about the work. We start with whichever part the audit shows is costing you most.

Offer and BOM builder

Techno-commercial offers with a BOM from your component list and current distributor prices.

Project material control

Parts reserved against each project, with purchase and lead-time tracking for long-delivery items.

FAT and commissioning checklist

Test points ticked off with the customer, punch points logged, and sign-off recorded.

Milestone billing and retention

Invoices raised by milestone, with retention amounts and their release dates tracked.

Service desk and program archive

Breakdown calls logged against the installation, with the latest program version stored for each machine.

How it works

How the work runs from Bengaluru for your city.

  1. 01

    The audit, by call

A screen-share and a look at the sheets, Tally reports and WhatsApp groups your team uses. No travel needed.

  2. 02

    A written proposal

Scope, what we build first and the cost, agreed in writing before anything starts.

  3. 03

    Build in short rounds

Working screens shared every few weeks. Your team tests them from your own office.

  4. 04

Go-live, in person when it helps

For data migration and training we can come to your city. Travel is agreed in advance.

  5. 05

    Support online

Fixes, changes and hosting handled remotely by the same team that built it.

Common questions

Questions industrial automation companies ask before they call.

Does it work with Tally?

Yes. Purchases, milestone invoices, and e-way bill details can sync with Tally, so accounts stay where they are.

Can you also build SCADA dashboards or IoT monitoring?

Yes. We build dashboards that read machine data and alert on faults, as a separate piece of work from your internal software.

Should we buy a standard ERP?

If most of your work is repeat panels, a standard ERP may be fine. Project-heavy integrators usually find the commissioning and retention side missing, and the audit will show where you sit.

Can it track imported parts with long lead times?

Yes. Each part on order shows its promised date against the project that needs it, and a late item flags the FAT date it puts at risk. Freight and duty can be added to the part’s cost for that project.

What happens in the free technology audit?

We look at the software, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups your business runs on today and write down what works, what slows your team down and what is missing. A demo login, a screen-share or a few screenshots are enough to start. You get a report ordered by priority, and there is no obligation to hire us afterwards.

How much will the software cost?

We don’t publish a price, because it depends on what the system has to do. The audit settles the scope, and the cost goes into a written proposal before any work starts.
