Reports for Architecture Firm Principals and Partners
Reports here are not a separate exercise. They read the projects, drawings, submissions, visits and bills that the studio has already entered through the week.
Reports a practice asks for
How a report is read
Every figure comes from a record somebody entered, so a line can be opened down to the drawing, the visit or the invoice behind it. Lists filter by project, stage, architect and date. A principal reads them on a phone. Nothing is typed twice.
Who reads which report
What reports do not do
- They do not value work in progress for your books
- They do not file returns or produce statutory statements
- They do not judge whether a fee was fair
- They do not add figures the studio never entered
Frequently asked questions
Can a report be exported?
Yes. Any list goes to a spreadsheet or a PDF for the partners’ meeting.
Do we get a dashboard on the phone?
Yes. The main figures open in a phone browser, with the longer lists kept for a laptop.
Can a new report be added later?
Yes. A report built from records you already keep is small work, and one needing new fields is quoted.
Will the numbers match our accountant’s books?
Billing and receipts here are the practice’s own record. Your accountant decides how they sit in the books.
