Braces and Supplies Stock for Chiropractic Clinics
Lumbar belts, cervical collars, pillows, cushions and table supplies are counted in one stock list. Each sale on a bill reduces the count, and a reorder level flags what the clinic must buy.
What is counted
How sales reach stock
A brace sold at the counter is picked on the bill, and it leaves the stock count at once. If an item is out, the desk sees it first. A return is posted back with a reason.
Who looks after it
Assistants count and receive stock. The owner sees the reorder list and supplier dues. Doctors see only whether an item is in stock at the moment they advise a patient to buy a support from the clinic.
What the stock list leaves out
It does not place orders on its own. A clinic that prints barcode labels can attach a label printer, fitted when the system is configured. Whether to sell a product at all is the clinic’s call.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to count every glove and sheet?
No. Low-value items can be tracked loosely, as a box in or out. Which items need counts is decided with the clinic.
Can stock be counted by size?
Yes. A belt in medium and a belt in large are separate lines with their own counts.
Is a barcode scanner needed?
No. Items can be picked by name. A scanner or label printer can be added if the clinic wants one.
Can two branches share stock?
Yes. Each branch has its own count, and a transfer moves items from one to the other.
