Follow-ups and Recalls for Chiropractic Clinics
The follow-up list shows patients who missed a visit, stopped partway through a plan or are due a review. Reception calls or messages them from the same screen and notes the answer.
Who appears on the list
Reaching the patient
Reception sees the phone number, the last visit and what was advised. A call or message goes out from the list. The outcome, such as booked, will call back or not interested, is noted and the entry clears.
Message content
Messages are short and kept to the booking: a reminder, a prompt to continue a course or an invitation to a review. The clinic sets the wording. Medical advice is not sent from a template.
What stays with the clinic
Doctors decide whether a patient should continue. Messaging accounts, message templates and the patient’s consent to receive messages are all set up with the clinic during scoping.
Frequently asked questions
Can messages go out automatically?
Yes, for reminders. Calls and personal follow-ups stay with reception.
Can a patient opt out of messages?
Yes. An opt-out is marked on the profile, and that patient is skipped from message lists.
Does it call the patient?
No. It lists the patient and the number. A staff member makes the call.
Can we see which follow-ups led to a visit?
Yes. The list records the outcome, and a booked visit shows against that follow-up.
