Progress and Outcome Scores for Chiropractic Clinics
Pain scores, range of movement and short functional questionnaires are recorded at the visits the doctor chooses. Any later visit can then be compared with the first on a single screen.
What gets scored
Reading the trend
Scores are shown as a simple list or line from the first visit to the latest one, so a patient who feels no better can be shown what has changed. This goes into the review talk. A printed summary can go to the patient if the clinic chooses to give one.
Across the clinic
The owner can see scores grouped by complaint or by doctor. Lower back patients show where scores moved and where they did not. Small groups prove little. The clinic reads them with care.
What the scores do not decide
A score is one input to the doctor’s judgement. It does not close a plan, suggest a diagnosis or predict recovery. Which questionnaires the clinic uses, and their licences, are the clinic’s to confirm.
Frequently asked questions
Do we have to score every visit?
No. The clinic picks the visits, for example the first, the fifth and the review.
Can we use a questionnaire of our own?
Yes. A short form is built as a list of questions with the scoring rule you give us.
Does the system calculate the totals?
Yes, where the clinic supplies the scoring rule. The doctor still reads the answers.
Can patients see their own scores?
Only when the clinic shares a summary. There is no patient login unless it is scoped and agreed.
