Reports for Elevator Company Owners and Service Managers
Reports come from the lifts, contracts, visits, calls, spares and invoices your staff enter as they work. Nobody keeps a separate register to produce them.
Cover and contracts
Two reports answer what your company is responsible for.
Service, calls and spares
These three are read daily in most lift offices.
Erection jobs and money
Projects and collections are read together by the owner.
How the figures are read
Any of these can be opened for a date range, a branch, a route or a single building. The figures move as staff enter work, so a report opened in the evening carries the calls closed that afternoon. Export to a spreadsheet is there when a committee or your accountant asks. Owners open all of them, while a manager is given the routes and buildings you decide he should read.
What the reports do not do
- They hold no benchmark and compare you with no other company
- They say nothing about what a lift must have or must pass
- A figure is only as good as what the field entered that day
- Reports beyond this list are quoted before any are built
Frequently asked questions
Can a report be limited to one building?
Yes. Each of these opens for a single society, hospital or office block.
Do owners get a figure on the phone each day?
Where you want it. A short daily summary can go by WhatsApp or mail to the people you name.
Can a report of our own be added?
Yes. Describe what it must show, and it is built and quoted before any work starts.
Are the figures live?
They are current to the last entry made. A visit signed off at noon appears in the afternoon.
