Delivery and Installation Planning for Modular Kitchens

Packed units leave the factory only when the flat is ready to receive them. Each fitting visit records what went in and what is still pending.

Checking the site first

A readiness check is filled in before a vehicle is loaded. Tiling and false ceiling finished, electrical points pulled to the marked positions, water and drain lines in place, the lift working and the flat accessible. Each line is ticked by the supervisor who visited or by the client on a message. A site that fails the check is rescheduled, with the reason on record. That reason matters when a client later asks why fitting slipped.

Loading and reaching the flat

Dispatch list

Packed units for the project are listed by wall, and each is ticked as it goes onto the vehicle. Nothing is loaded twice.

Vehicle and gate pass

The vehicle, driver and dispatch date are recorded, with a gate pass printed where the apartment asks for one.

Hardware and consumables

Hinges, channels, baskets, screws, silicone and edge touch-up material are issued against the project before the team leaves.

Fitting team

The carpenters and helpers going to that flat are named, with the days booked for them.

Recording each fitting visit

A visit record shows the date, who attended and which units were fitted. Carcass levelling, shutter alignment, countertop placement, chimney and hob fitting and final cleaning each sit as steps that get marked off. Work that could not be done is written with its reason, such as a countertop yet to arrive or a power point in the wrong place. Photographs of the finished walls can be attached. The client signs the last visit.

What this module does not do

  • It does not arrange civil, electrical or plumbing work at the flat
  • Vehicle hire and fuel accounting sit outside this record
  • Live vehicle tracking needs a device and is scoped separately
  • What counts as a ready site is agreed with your supervisors
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can a kitchen be fitted over more than one visit?

Yes. Carcasses, shutters and countertop often go in on different days, and each visit keeps its own record.

What if the site is not ready on the day?

The visit is marked not done with the reason, and a fresh date is set. The dispatch can be held back.

Are fitting teams scheduled?

Yes. Carpenters and helpers are booked against dates, so two flats are not promised the same team.

Can the client confirm the work on the spot?

The last visit can take a signature or a message confirmation, and that is stored before handover opens.
