Design and Build · Modular Kitchen Business Management Software

One system for kitchen measurements, designs, hardware, production and installation.

Run a modular kitchen business from one set of records. Site measurements, layout drawings and their revisions sit with the project, and every module carries its carcass board, shutter finish and hardware. Quotations are priced module by module. The approved drawing goes to the factory as a cutting and assembly job, and countertop and appliance orders are raised against the same project. Installation, the snag list, stage payments and hardware warranty are all read from one screen.

  • Your module list, board and finish options and hardware brands put in as your showroom sells them
  • Live projects, approved drawings and balance amounts brought across from your files
  • Rate and hardware list changes handled by our staff when you ask

Modular kitchen businesses that design, build and install run on this software, which GullySystem sets up for the showroom, the factory and the fitting team. Records cover site measurement sheets, drawing revisions, board and hardware selection, unit-wise quotations and job cards. Installation and snags close on the same project. You mark the revision the client approved.

Where it breaks today

What goes wrong before the software.

Measurements live on loose sheets

Wall lengths, beam drops and window positions are noted on a pad or photographed on a phone. The factory then cuts panels from a copy that may not be the measurement taken last.

Nobody can say which drawing was approved

A client asks for the hob to shift and the loft to grow, and the layout is redrawn twice. Months later the approved version and the extra work cannot be separated.

Finish and hardware choices are not held per module

Shutter finish, hinge type, channel brand and basket sizes are settled in conversation. The fitter at site then puts in whatever came in the delivery.

The quote and the production list drift apart

Pricing is done in running feet while the workshop builds unit by unit. A drawer upgraded or a filler added at site never reaches the final bill.

Installation dates are given before the site is checked

Civil work, electrical points and plumbing may not be ready when the team reaches the flat. The vehicle, the fitters and the panels all wait.

Snags and balance amounts stay in chat groups

A chipped shutter or a loose hinge is reported on a WhatsApp group after handover. The pending balance is chased from a notebook that only the owner reads.

How it runs

How the work flows through it, step by step.

  1. 1

    Enquiry

A client walks into the showroom, calls, or comes through an architect. The flat, the kitchen shape and the budget range discussed are noted against the enquiry.

  2. 2

    Site measurement

A measurer visits the flat and records wall lengths, ceiling height, beam drops, window and door positions. Existing electrical, water and drain points are marked on the same sheet.

  3. 3

    Design and selection

The layout is drawn and the kitchen is broken into base, wall, tall and loft units. Carcass board, shutter finish, handles and hardware are chosen unit by unit with the client.

  4. 4

    Quotation and approval

Each unit is priced with its finish and hardware, and appliances and countertop are added. The client signs off a drawing revision and pays the advance.

  5. 5

    Production and purchase

The approved drawing becomes a cutting list and assembly job for the factory or the panel supplier. Boards, hardware, countertop and appliances are ordered against the project.

  6. 6

    Installation and handover

Carcasses are levelled, shutters aligned and the countertop and chimney fitted. Snags are listed and cleared. The balance is billed and hardware warranty is recorded.

Site measurement sheets

Hold wall lengths, ceiling height, beam drops, window and door positions and existing service points for every kitchen measured.

Learn more

Design drawings and revisions

Keep each layout version, the renders shown to the client and the change asked for, so the approved revision is clear.

Learn more

Carcass board and shutter finish selection

Set the board grade and the shutter finish for each unit, from your own list of plywood, laminate, acrylic and paint options.

Learn more

Hardware and accessory selection

Record hinges, channels, drawer systems, baskets, corner units, lift-ups and handles against the unit they belong to. Each unit then carries its own bill of materials into the quote and the job card.

Learn more

Quotations by unit and running feet

Price each base, wall, tall and loft unit with its finish and hardware. Add the countertop, chimney, hob and sink, so the scope of work on the quote is plain. Rates sit per running foot, per square foot or per unit, and every quote version is kept.

Learn more

Approval, advance and work order

Mark the revision the client accepted, record the advance taken and open the work order the factory will build from.

Learn more

Production job cards

Follow cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly and packing for each unit, with the worker or machine noted at every stage.

Learn more

Purchase orders for boards and hardware

Raise orders on board dealers, hardware distributors, countertop fabricators and appliance suppliers, receive against them and keep the supplier ledger.

Learn more

Delivery and installation planning

Check site readiness, load packed units onto a vehicle and allot a fitting team. Each visit records what was fitted.

Learn more

Handover, snag list and warranty

List the snags the client points out, close each one with the person who attended, and hold hardware warranty details.

Learn more

Stage payments and GST billing

Set the advance, production and handover stages for a project, raise GST invoices and watch the balance still due.

Solutions inside

The business modules it is built from.

Each one is also available on its own, or inside a system built for you.

  • Lead Management

Showroom staff record the client, the flat or site, the kitchen shape discussed, the referrer and the measurement visit that has been booked.

  • Estimate/Quotation Management

Quotes price each base, wall, tall and loft unit with finish and hardware, plus countertop, chimney, hob and sink, and every version is retained.

  • Job Cards

Each unit gets a production job card following cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly and packing, with the worker or machine noted at every stage.

  • Purchase Order Management

Orders go to board dealers, hardware distributors, countertop fabricators and appliance suppliers, with receipts logged against them and a ledger kept for each supplier.

  • Invoice Management

Projects are split into advance, production and handover stages, GST invoices are raised for each, and the balance still due stays visible.

  • Project Document Management

Layout versions, client renders and requested changes are stored together, which makes the approved design revision clear to the factory and the fitting team.

  • Technician Scheduling

Coordinators check site readiness, load packed units onto a vehicle and allot a fitting team, and each visit records what was fitted.

Honest answer

When it is not the right choice.

Made to fit

Adapted to your business before it goes live.

You are not handed a login and left to it. The product is set up around your records, your people and the tools you already use.

Your unit list and rates

Base, wall, tall and loft units, their sizes and your rates per running foot, per square foot or per unit go in as you quote them today.

Your board, finish and hardware lists

Plywood grades, laminate and acrylic ranges, paint finishes, hinge and channel brands and basket sizes follow the lists your showroom works from.

Own factory or outsourced panels

Job cards can run through your own cutting and assembly stages, or stop at a cutting list sent to a panel supplier.

Measurement and drawing formats

The fields on the measurement sheet, and where renders and drawing files are stored, match how your designers already work.

Payment stages and site rules

How many stages a project is billed in, and what counts as a site ready for fitting, are settled with you at set-up.

Hosting across showrooms

GullySystem runs the hosting, so each showroom shares one client list and the same view of factory load. Our staff update rates and hardware lists on request.

Common questions

Questions owners ask before a demo.

Is this only for modular kitchen businesses?

Mostly. Units, finishes, hardware, cutting lists and fitting visits are set up around kitchen work. Wardrobes and other carcass units built the same way sit on the same records. A studio doing whole-home interiors should look at the Interior Design product instead.

Can measurements taken at site be entered on a phone?

Yes. The sheet opens at the flat. A measurer fills it on a mobile or a tablet, and photos of walls and service points can be attached.

Are the drawings and 3D renders made in the system?

No. They are drawn in your own design tool and attached to the project. Every version is saved with its date, the change the client asked for and the person who drew it. The accepted revision is marked, and later work is added against it.

Can hardware be chosen unit by unit?

Yes. Hinges, channels, drawer systems, baskets and handles are recorded on the unit they are fitted to, and they carry into the quote and the job card.

Can a quote be priced in running feet or per square foot?

It can. Rates may be held per running foot, per square foot, per unit or in a mix. The quotation shows the finish and hardware behind each line.

What if panels are cut outside instead of in our factory?

The cutting list is raised the same way and sent to the panel supplier as a purchase order. Which stages you record in-house is decided with you.

Can clients be billed in stages?

Yes. Advance, production and handover stages are set per project, each with its own GST invoice and payment record.

Will the figures go into Tally?

Not on their own. Sales and purchase figures can be read inside GullySystem, and an export is priced once your ledger layout is confirmed.

How is hardware warranty handled?

Brand, model and the fitting date are held per unit, so a later complaint can be traced. What a hardware brand accepts remains between you and that brand.

What does it cost, and how is set-up planned?

No rate is published. Showrooms, your own factory or an outside panel supplier, and the records to migrate all shape the figure. You watch it running first. The amount and the set-up plan then arrive in writing.

Wondering what it costs? Six questions give you a written scope and the buckets any quote should separate.
