Site Measurement Sheets for Modular Kitchens
Measurements taken at the flat go on one sheet that the designer and the factory both read. Nothing is copied twice, so the cutting list follows the wall.
What the sheet records
One sheet per kitchen, opened at the flat and filled in before the measurer leaves.
Measuring at site
The sheet opens on the measurer’s handset or tablet inside the flat. The measurer records readings as they are taken rather than writing on a pad and typing later at the showroom. A second visit after civil work is kept as its own sheet, so the change in a wall or a duct is visible. Both sheets stay on the project.
What the sheet feeds
What the sheet does not settle
- It does not shift plumbing or electrical points, which the client arranges
- Civil chipping and tile work stay outside this record
- It does not draw the kitchen; the design module does that
- Which fields appear on the sheet is set up with you
Frequently asked questions
Can measurements be entered without a network at site?
Entry on a phone needs the site to be reachable. Where coverage is poor the readings are typed at the showroom and marked as entered later.
What if the flat is measured twice?
Both sheets are kept. The newer one governs the cutting list, and the older stays for comparison.
Are photographs of the walls stored?
Yes. Images attach to the sheet and open beside the readings when the designer starts the layout.
Does it calculate panel sizes on its own?
Panel sizes follow your own allowances for filler, skirting and scribe. Those allowances are entered during set-up.
